03:29More of the Little Miracles team crossing the start line.
03:32There's Kieran from Living Sport.
03:34If you're just going under the starting gantry and setting your watch, have a great race.
03:42We look forward to seeing you back in the finish.
03:45Let's get it!
03:53One of the runners has just said it's a bit cold as he crosses the line.
03:56It's going to warm up as you get into the 13 miles.
03:59We promise that the sun's going to come out.
04:01And these conditions probably suiting some of the runners a little bit better than if we had Blazing Sunshine.
04:07The sun will come out later on.
04:09And there's a Peterborough Foodbank charity vest just crossing the line.
04:13We had lots of their runners out in the fun run earlier.
04:16Great to see them out in there.

04:37And we've got a banner.
04:38We've got a banner.
04:41You just sold your banner up again.
04:42Who was your support?
04:44I think they've seen their runner over in their starting pens.
04:47Busfield joggers are just setting off on their 13 and a bit miles around Peterborough.
04:58The runners are going to go up to the Queensgate roundabout.
05:01They're going to loop back and then take a left and go up through Central Park.
05:05Then across the A47 and do a loop in Warrington.
05:08Come back down, cross the A47, back through Central Park.
05:14Then take in a route round the Cathedral before coming back down towards us at the finish.
05:19They'll come down Bridge Street, take a sharp left and come back down Bishop's Road to take the finish.
05:26And then go back round into the car park.

05:44So anybody alongside them?
05:46Good luck.
05:47We're doing a sub 150.
05:48The 150 pacemakers are just in front of you.
05:51Good luck to Billy.

05:58The Yellow Vest of Yaxley there, one of our localish clubs.
06:02And the Fendland Running Club also going out onto the course.
06:11And the car park is slowly clearing.
06:13We're working our way down through the field.
06:19We're still pulling up to get out.
06:22And the runners crossing the line now.
06:23We're six minutes into the race, but they will get a time from when they leave the start line to when they get back.
06:31So I know it's taking them several minutes to cross the start line.
06:35They will get a time from when they leave.
06:39He's just crossed the start line in front of me.
06:41And we've got Gaz and his teammates heading towards the line.
06:45Good luck, Gaz.
06:46Somebody there running for Tommy's charity.
06:52And Shine as well, just behind another charity vest.
06:56We were talking to the Civic Party about how many thousands of pounds we're going to raise for charity today.
07:02And as I speak, another charity vest.
07:04The campaign against living miserably leaves the line.
07:08The Corby Running Club.
07:14Their vest is just approaching the line.
07:16Good luck to the runner from Corby.
07:19And another charity vest.

07:24And there's Mark just about to set off.
07:26Good luck, Mark.
07:29And we've got another of the Peterborough Food Bank vests on its way.
07:33Saw quite a few of those out in the 5K.
07:35Some of them dressed up as a food bank cupboard.
07:40And we've got a pink 2-2 just leaving the line, which is good to see.
07:46And there's a team from the Riverside Runners.
07:48I think from St. Neots.
07:54So there's a runner there with an injured arm.
07:56So good luck to here.
07:57That's going to be hard going around with that arm in a sling.
07:59So good luck to here.
08:00There's Andy Mann's Club setting off.
08:08And one of the Skate Ness Runners.
08:13The Army Cadet Charitable Trust.
08:16And we've got loads of Army Cadets with us today.
08:19A big team of Army Cadets from around Cambridge here working on the race and helping us.
08:25So a big shout out to those youngsters that have given up their Sunday to help on the race.
08:30Those youngsters from Cambridge here.
08:31Army Cadets.
08:33And here are the Savills Pacing Team.
08:35The next three paces setting out.
08:37The two-hour paces.
08:38So all these runners just behind those paces are looking for a sub two-hour.
08:43They'll go round with the paces.
08:45We'll get them back in exactly two hours.
08:47And they'll just run away from the paces in the last mile or so to try and do a sub two-hour Great Eastern.
08:58Two more of the Corby team on the start line.
09:01I see Councillor John Howard up there that normally runs.
09:05He can't run with a hamstring.
09:06He must be bitterly disappointed.
09:08But cheering all the runners on that I'll take him part.
09:16The biggest ever field we've had for the Great Eastern.
09:19I'll get a total from total race timing when we get everybody over the line.
09:24But around about 6,000 we're expecting.
09:27Over 6,000 entered.
09:28Like John, you always get a few that unfortunately have to drop out due to injury and various other reasons.
09:35But I think we'll be around 6,000 on the start.
09:40And Alzheimer's Research UK Vest has just set off.
09:44One of many, many charity vests in the field, as we've already shouted out.
09:49While the runners are setting their watches, but they will get a time from total race timing.
09:59Now we're 10 minutes into the race, so the leader's 10 minutes up.
10:03Of course, there's one of the two, Sue Ryder, Vest just leaving the line.
10:09One of the race charities and one of the mayor's charities as well.
10:12Sue Ryder.

10:31Good luck.
10:31Look forward to calling you all back when you get back at the end of the race.
10:35Have a great race.
10:36Enjoy your trip around Peterborough.
10:38If you're not from Peterborough, take in the sights, particularly the cathedral.
10:50Another of the Harmer Harriers from Spalding and Southlinks leaving the line.
10:55There's a couple of them, actually.
10:56Someone's going to have a party.
11:03They're taking some party balloons round with them.
11:05I'm liking your style.
11:06It's going to be a party all around Peterborough.
11:09There'll be massive, massive support, particularly around the town centre and so on.
11:14But around all the calls, the people of Warrington will come out and line the route and cheer the runners up.
11:19In fact, I'll have a chat when the race is up.
11:22When we've got everybody out, I'll just have a chat to Councillor John Howard, who's run this race,
11:26and ask him what the support's normally like around the course.
11:30But I imagine not only in the town centre, but the people of Warrington will come out and cheer all the runners on as they go round.
11:37And another charity vest, the Teenage Cancer Trust, is getting its vest over the line.
11:42Have a great race.
11:43I'm liking your glittery face.
11:45And they're running for a special reason.
11:47Running for Joe.
11:48A lot of the charity runners, they run because the charity is special to them.
11:53And some of them are running for the Light Project in Peterborough.
11:59And another of the Sioux Ryder team.
12:01Two more of the Sioux Ryder team leaving the start line.
12:05Another of the Axley Club runners.
12:08And we're working our way down through the field.
12:13I can see the next pacing team starting to make their way round the corner.
12:17And into the starting straight.
12:21We've still got runners all the way into the car park.
12:25It's quite a sight.
12:26They're still sneaking all the way around the car park.
12:29Absolutely fantastic field.
12:32Great turnout.
12:33Absolutely superb.
12:34Over the last four years under good running events, the Great Eastern has been getting bigger and bigger.
12:41And there go the 220 pacemakers.
12:45And we've got our wheelchair athlete.
12:47A wheelchair athlete.
12:48Give a big tear.
12:49In the middle of the pack there.
12:51And just behind the 220 pacemakers, we have one of our wheelchair athletes just setting off.
12:58We've got more of the white with the blue Sioux Ryder logo on.
13:03Good luck to those runners.
13:04Good luck to all the runners, including Luz running for prostate cancer.
13:08Alzheimer's Society, Sioux Ryder's Vest, Head to Toe Charity.
13:17We've got Natalie and Lewis who are running for charity side by side there.
13:21Good luck to Natalie and Lewis.
13:24And they're running for their dad for obviously very, very personal reasons to them.
13:29Have a great race.
13:30And we've got the next of the pacemakers going through.
13:34The 2 hour 30 pacemakers.
13:37All these runners looking for a sub 2 hour 30 Great Eastern.
13:42Sponsored by AEPG.
13:44A big shout out to Ashley who started the race.
13:47He was bum on time with the air haul.
13:49I bet he was relieved when the race got underway.
13:52It's always a nervous time for a restart.
13:54And we've got more fancy dress heading towards the line.
14:01I can see a fancy dress costume heading towards the start line.
14:07There we go.
14:10It's the air ambulance charity.
14:12There we go.
14:14It's the pilot from the air ambulance, I think, just heading out on the Great Eastern.
14:19And we've got Sam and Sarah.
14:21Good luck girls.
14:24Now we've got more fancy dress.
14:26We've got more fancy dress.
14:29He's lagging behind the air ambulance pilot.
14:32But I'm sure he's going to catch up and it could be neck and neck.
14:35In green we've got Graham and Elaine on the far side.
14:39Have a great race.
14:45In the middle of the pack in black is Ali.
14:49Some of these runners I think are regretting putting their names on when they're getting a massive shout out.
14:54And there go the next of the two savils paces.
14:57They're the 2.45 paces.
15:00And somebody happy birthday.
15:02Happy birthday to the runner in the middle.
15:04She's got a birthday cake with candles on her head.
15:07I saw Corbyn, a good running ambassador with a cake box.
15:11We've just had a runner go past with a cake on their head.
15:14And we've got another of our wheelchair athletes just crossing the line there with the Scottish saltiles.
15:21And we've got more fancy dress.
15:27Complete with balloons.
15:33And one of the actual runners is away.
15:35And in hot pursuit of all the runners is our senior Ray Stewart.
15:38Things protect us.
15:39Clean it with Royal Christmas Team.
15:40souscriminate all the nails.
15:41We want to have custody.
15:41All of the runners are down there with a couple of r Chair and we don't have to trust them.
15:42Our tour ali have to trust the full range of people, and the BMXAC has not beentech.
15:43Exactly!
15:43So when of the red light we need to brew it anyway.
15:44In hot pursuit of all of the referee, we've missed seats so you don't have to sit as a club.
15:46Come onJacques o largely is about to win their seats.
15:47And in the middle of the year you let goes into stockist movement.
15:48You really can't come for it!
15:50When of the children ain't to come on, and make up the blue, and make up the track questions around an hourgaq.
