00:00Go, and we're on the way, the A-Holksans.
00:03Ashley from AEPG starts the Great Easter.
00:07He's on the way for 2025.
00:10What a wonderful day.
00:11First time that it's foggy, but honestly, it doesn't show on those runners' faces.
00:15And I'm so proud of everyone today running on behalf of these worthy causes and charities.
00:20Brilliant. We're going to be here at the finishing line cheering them on.
00:23They are the very best of the people in our city, and I'm so proud of them all.
00:27It's just really inspiring and positive to see everyone. All the costumes have been brilliant.
00:31Very much feeling inspired to maybe run it myself on, yeah.
00:33Maybe, well, maybe now I've said it to the media, I'll be having to.
00:40How was the preparation?
00:41Yeah, so I've done a few training sessions. I want to do some more.
00:45But yeah, I've definitely put some hours in and put some kilometres in.
00:49How important is today for Peterborough to see so many people out running and lining the streets?
00:55Well, look, I mean, what's great about this event is that it brings so many people together.
00:59And so much money is raised for local charities.
01:02I'm running for Palace Hope.
01:04Okay, my father died of a brain tumour five years ago.
01:07I mean, that was awful.
01:08But when children die of brain tumours, and this is the biggest killer, brain tumours is the biggest killer of young people.
01:13It's unbelievably wicked and tragic.
01:15My wife's running for the light project I ran for them two years ago.
01:20So those are examples where we're bringing the city together, raising money, and ensuring that it gets to make a difference.
01:27And I think that's the biggest thing here.
01:28And I think this is like the one where we should.
01:30If you like to do it, you're going to be able to find a person in the audience.
01:31You're going to be able to bring the city together and make a difference.
01:32It makes me happy, and you are going to be able to build your community together and make a difference.
