00:08Hayley Erbert definitely has something extra to celebrate this birthday.

00:11The Dancing with the Stars troop member took to Instagram on Saturday,

00:15the heartfelt post describing the milestone of both her 31st birthday and her pregnancy.

00:20This birthday is beyond special, she wrote.

00:24I get to spend it in the most magical place with the love of my life,

00:27soaking in every moment before we embark on the new adventure of becoming parents.

00:33My heart and my life cup are so full, she added.

00:37In addition to the sweet caption,

00:39Erbert shared a batch of photos from their babymoon at Yosemite National Park

00:42with husband Derek Hawk, which included photos and videos showing off her baby bump.

00:48The couple, who announced in July that they're expecting,

00:51has been keeping their followers and fans updated in Erbert's pregnancy journey,

00:54including when Hawk was recently putting together a crib.

00:58The DWTS judge also took to Instagram to wish his wife a happy birthday

01:02with a sweet post and video from their trip.

01:09celebrating you in our special place where time slows down and everything just makes sense.

01:14This little babymoon has been magic,

01:16just us before we welcome our greatest adventure yet.

01:19Hawk and Erbert have been married since 2023.

01:21They have not announced the gender of the baby.

01:23Birthday milestones for the growing family this year have been major,

01:27as Hawk turned 40 in May and Erbert went all out to celebrate.

01:57Hawk posted a simple yet powerful update,

02:00a photo of the crib he's putting together.

02:02Captioned with just two words,

02:05it begins.

02:06The understated post instantly tugged at fans' hearts,

02:09marking one of the couple's biggest milestones yet

02:12as they prepare for their baby's arrival.

02:15Hawk and Erbert,

02:16who married in August 2023 after nearly a decade together,

02:20announced in July that they're expecting their first child.

02:23The couple hasn't publicly revealed the baby's gender,

02:26but fans are hanging on every update

02:28as the pair transforms their home for their growing family.

02:32Earlier,

02:32Erbert gave followers a peek at their nursery prep,

02:35and it wasn't all smooth sailing.

02:36In her Instagram stories,

02:40the dancer shared videos of herself

02:41clearing out the guest room

02:42and accidentally peeling off layers and layers of paint and drywall

02:46while removing a decorative wall map.

02:49Note to self and everyone, really, she joked.

02:51Do not do a self-adhesive map on your wall.

02:53It might be cute,

02:54but it will rip off everything on your wall.

02:57Started out small with like little things,

02:58and then all of a sudden it was like,

03:00and I'm gonna just keep taking off your wall,

03:02and it's still,

03:03you can kind of still see the map of the world,

03:04so, fun times.

03:06Hawk also weighed in on his wife's nesting energy,

03:09playfully scolding her in another clip

03:11for climbing a ladder while pregnant.

03:13Is it just me,

03:14or does anybody else hate

03:15when their pregnant wife gets on a ladder to grab something?

03:17I hate this.

03:19I hate this,

03:20and she's like,

03:20babe, chill,

03:21and I'm like,

03:22why am I freaking?

03:23He said with a laugh.

03:24Haley, ever unbothered,

03:25calmly came down the ladder and replied,

03:27I'm fine,

03:27with an exasperated smile.

03:29Between the repairs,

03:31the laughter,

03:32and the new crib.

03:33The Hawk's journey into parenthood

03:35is unfolding in real time,

03:36and their followers

03:37are loving every minute.

03:39It begins, indeed.

03:40The entire Dancing with the Stars family

03:42is super excited for the couple,

03:44who have overcome a lot

03:45after Haley's very serious health scare

03:47in December 2023.

03:50At the time,

03:52Derek shared on Instagram

03:53that she became disoriented

03:54while on tour

03:55and had to be hospitalized,

03:57where she was diagnosed

03:58with a cranial hematoma

03:59that resulted

04:00from a burst blood vessel

04:02and had to have

04:03an emergency craniectomy.

04:05Derek later told people

04:06that the abject fear

04:07was almost too much to bear.

04:09I was on stage,

04:10and she's supposed to come out.

04:12The stage manager

04:13walked out and just said,

04:14hey,

04:15she's not coming on stage.

04:17She was on the side of the stage

04:18having full seizures

04:19and essentially dying.

04:21It's really hard

04:22to even put into words

04:23other than just pure fear,

04:24said Derek.

04:26He continued,

04:26we rush her to the hospital.

04:28She's still in her costume.

04:30The doctor came to me

04:31and he said that

04:31she has a severe brain bleed,

04:33so we have to operate right now.

04:35She said that she might not make it

04:37and that even if she does make it,

04:38she won't be the same person.

04:40It is pretty miraculous

04:41that Haley has fully recovered,

04:44even dancing again

04:45on an emotional return

04:46to Dancing with the Stars

04:47in the fall of 2024.
