00:00Now it's time to check in with our Queen of Sips, Sharon Marstall.
00:03Hello.
00:04Lots of gossip this week.
00:06Well, it's the clashing of the universes is coming, isn't it?
00:09Gossip streams.
00:10I know, it's like the Avengers.
00:11We're looking for more people.
00:13So Corridale, they've started filming on us.
00:16Have they?
00:17So now we know that's coming in about six weeks' time.
00:20It's quite good to...
00:21Actually, no, it's more than like the shooting out sequence.
00:23It's not till January.
00:24But you can keep an eye on the storylines now
00:27in Coronation Street and Emmerdale
00:29and try and work out...
00:30How they're going to weave.
00:30Oh, I see.
00:31Why might that weave?
00:33What might happen there?
00:35Well, let's go start.
00:36We'll start with poor old Kev.
00:38Going through a divorce.
00:40And watch Abby in the background here.
00:42She does that classic of sending the text
00:45to the person that you're talking about
00:47rather than to the right person.
00:49Oops, she sends a text to Kev.
00:51Oh, dear.
00:55She's got a very nasty streak in her.
00:57I've seen it.
00:58And before you say anything,
01:01yes, I know she's had a hard life.
01:04Yeah, well, you can't deny that.
01:07No, I can't.
01:09But it's made her hard.
01:12And she will grab whatever she can get her hands on
01:16so you need to protect yourself.
01:19And Jack.
01:20I don't know.
01:21Because if she gets a share of your house,
01:25it'll be Jack will miss out.
01:28And her and Alfie.
01:30And her quids in.
01:32Oh, dear.
01:33Delete, delete.
01:34Get hold of his phone.
01:35Take that text.
01:35That is possible.
01:36And Tim's marriage is in trouble, too.
01:39Oh, yeah.
01:39He spent his anniversary night on the sofa, didn't he?
01:42I'm not surprised.
01:43When Sally saw she'd made his anniversary tea
01:46and everything was ready
01:47and he'd been drinking in the pub.
01:48It's actually, it's going down a little different route,
01:52this story with Tricia, who's come back from his past.
01:55What will emerge is that he was,
01:58she was 20 when they got together,
02:00but he was 14.
02:01So what this is actually doing
02:03is looking at how historically this was an abuse story.
02:06And as the residents of the street hear about it,
02:09it's them saying to him,
02:10no, actually, this wasn't right.
02:13And going into Tim's past there as well.
02:16I need to say good luck to a couple of people.
02:19Shalit Sterling Brown has announced
02:21that she's leaving her role as Dee Dee.
02:23And so good luck to her.
02:24And also to Sally Ann Matthews,
02:26who left last week.
02:27Jenny exited.
02:28It was a beautiful scene.
02:29She had a lovely last scene with Barbara Knox
02:31and outside the pub.
02:32And it was very low key,
02:34but that's exactly how she wanted it.
02:35She wanted to go with no fuss,
02:37but best luck for her.
02:38And we are going to miss Jenny so much.
02:41Let's go on to Emmerdale.
02:42It's the Tates versus the Kings.
02:45The kids are fighting at school.
02:47By the way, Nicola,
02:48can I just point out,
02:50bit somebody once,
02:50bit a kid in an argument once,
02:52so she's coming over very high and mighty
02:54in this carpet session.
02:55Let's have a look.
02:57All right, so you're sorry, Lucas?
03:00Just do it.
03:01No.
03:01If you apologise, we can go home.
03:03I told you, no.
03:05That's what we've come here for.
03:07I'm not sorry.
03:08I'm glad I hated you.
03:09Lucas!
03:09See, I told you.
03:10You brought up a jealous little bully.
03:12And knowing what you were like
03:14when you were doing what you want to be, Joe,
03:16not caring about anyone else,
03:17it's no surprise.
03:18Not much of an example to kids, are you?
03:19No wonder he's running wild.
03:21Lucas, I don't know why your behaviour works.
03:24And don't bring him back
03:25till he's ready to apologise.
03:28Oh.
03:29Don't worry, love.
03:30We won't let him bother you anymore.
03:32Even if it means that school
03:33will have to expel him.
03:34Oh.
03:36Oh, damn.
03:37She's on next week.
03:38With you.
03:38Yeah, apparently so.
03:39So we're having to get a gossip there.
03:41All the gossip from Nicola coming up as well.
03:42And what about Gossip's Charity?
03:44Oh, she's still hiding a secret.
03:47So she now knows that Ross is the father of the child.
03:51There he is.
03:51That's her expression when she got the paternity test results.
03:54What's she going to do?
03:56She has told Sarah, of course,
03:59that she's carrying her baby through IVF.
04:01Is she going to betray her own grandchild here?
04:05What's she going to say to her?
04:07Will she go ahead with the pregnancy
04:09because she's having second thoughts?
04:11And it's a web of lies,
04:12as it always is for charity.
04:14No episode on Thursday,
04:16but I can tell you the police are turning up on Friday.
04:19Which villager is in trouble?
04:21And lots of storylines,
04:22and this is true of all the soaps at the moment.
04:24They're doing it at EastEnders as well.
04:26About the young characters
04:28and about parents trying to protect their children.
04:31And lots of looking at online stories as well.
04:35EastEnders is doing that with Joel,
04:37who's about to do a violent attack on Vicky.
04:40But they're going to look at the effect
04:42that online is having with them.
04:44And Suki is going through the adoption process,
04:47much to the horror of her family.
04:48You're quite rightly pointing out
04:49she's got kids in jail
04:50and the rest of them don't speak to her.
04:52So is she going to get it right with this one?
04:55But the other big storyline of the week, of course,
04:57is all about the Mitchells.
04:59Yes.
04:59Dodgy drug deals.
05:01And that was on top of that missing gun, of course.
05:02Well, Walford's Darker Secrets
05:04are catching up with Harry Mitchell.
05:08He's off the road for a bit.
05:09It's all like the Archers.
05:11We fix motors, mate.
05:12We don't do valet parking.
05:13Help me out.
05:14I'll make it work, you're all.
05:15There's something wrong with the boot floor.
05:20Drugs are bad.
05:21See him, Walford?
05:22He's getting rid
05:22and then everything goes back to normal.
05:26Just as long as you tell me
05:27what you've done with it,
05:28everything will be fine.
05:29I'll flush it down the toilet.
05:33Take it to go on everything.
05:34You need to solve this.
05:36Got some goobies, so.
05:37Don't do anything else,
05:38but I ain't selling drugs right now.
05:39I think you have a chance.
05:40Just go back in your room
05:41and I'll be in there in a minute, all right?
05:42I can't be chatting about this stuff here.
05:44It's not fair on you.
05:45Harry, I don't want to go to prison.
05:46I know.
05:46I wouldn't let anything bad happen
05:48ever again.
05:49I can't do it.
05:49I don't deserve to be in danger.
05:51Maybe I do,
05:52but I can't keep them safe
05:53if I can't keep myself safe, can I?
05:55Oh, all right.
