00:05wa Mawlana Muhammad al-Mustafa ﷺ.
00:08Bi madadakum wa nazarikum siriyya Rasulul Kareem ya Habib al-Azim.
00:12Madad ya siriyya sultanil awliya mashaykh Abd al-Faiz al-Daghestani.
00:15Madad ya siriyya sultanil awliya mashaykh Muhammad al-Nazim haqqani.
00:18Madad ya sultanil awliya mashaykh Muhammad al-Nazim haqqani.
00:19Madad ya sultanil quloobina mawlana shaykh al-Shaykh al-Shaykh al-Kabani.
00:21Madad al-Haqq al-Hujratullahi al-Mukhlas.
00:23Bi madadakum wa nazarikum, a'udhu billahi min ashshaytani rajeem, Bismillah ar-Rahman ar-Raheem.
00:31Atiullah wa ati ya Rasul wa ulil amri minkum.
00:36And I was a reminder for myself, ana abdukul ajeezu, da'ifu, miskinu, zalimu, jahal.
00:45And by the grace of Allah that I'm still alive for Allah's rahmah and mercy and
00:52that to take a path in which we know that we're nothing and that Allah's rahmah continuously
00:59to dress us, bless us and our life is by each breath.
01:08All the plans in the world don't mean anything if Allah doesn't give us a breath.
01:16That breath is like a ishq, like a love, like a sunshine, it's the sweetest of gifts.
01:26And its sweetness only opens by these realities of loyalty and good character.
01:36This cave that they describe in Suratul Tawbah verse 40 where Allah describing in Holy Qur'an
01:49about the incident of Sayyidina Abu Bakr as-Siddiq, Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ and Sayyidina Abu Bakr
01:54as-Siddiq.
01:55When they left Mecca and moved towards Medina they stopped in the cave.
02:03And don't think that we're alone, Allah is with us.
02:08Always in this month of Muharram it's an opening for us.
02:13No matter you've heard this two times, three times always a reminder for myself, our life
02:20is this cave.
02:23This cave that they want us to understand.
02:26That it's foundation, the hijrah that Sayyidina Ali lies within the bed and represents
02:34La ilaha illallah .
02:37This is the Zulfiqar.
02:40And Prophet ﷺ took his beloved friend Sayyidina Abu Bakr as-Siddiq, as-Siddiq al-Mutlak
02:47towards Madinata Munnawara.
02:50These are two rivers and two blades of the Zulfiqar and they meet with Prophet ﷺ at the reality
03:00of who.
03:02And as Prophet ﷺ is beginning for us the month of Muharram they remind us that on that
03:09journey to Madinata Munnawara means that moving into the city of lights.
03:14That's after 13 years of struggling in the heart because Mecca is the heart.
03:22The 13 years of difficulty, 13 years of hardship, of torture and struggle because Mecca is the
03:31heart of the believer, Madinata Munnawara is the light of the soul of the believer.
03:40So Mecca you have to fight, you have to fight 13 years against yourself, your bad character,
03:46your bad desires, all the idols that we put within our life that block us from the real
03:55worshipping of Allah .
03:58Every vice and every character is… makes its own ilah in the heart.
04:06People who cannot control their vices, that vice becomes a god for them, a divinity within
04:13their heart that they are falsely obeying and anything that you obey of a false nature
04:20is a worshipness.
04:23So then these 360 idols are continuously fighting, continuously fighting, continuously fighting.
04:32When Allah gives a permission that your fight is accepted, your struggle against yourself
04:39is accepted means you are continuously coming against your bad character and we want you
04:47to be from this people of the cave.
04:49Not that you've completed it because that was when Prophet ﷺ went to Medina, he came
04:54back and conquered Mecca.
04:57But when Allah accepts the amount of time and struggle and sincerity in the struggle begin
05:04to inspire that what transpired in that cave and the reality of the cave.
05:11And that cave they come to teach us is the presence and the heart of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ.
05:19That the entrance of the cave is the spiderweb.
05:23So each symbol is for our path.
05:28That house of the An-kibut is Surah 29 29 is Lam'alif, Lam'alif is the Zulfiqar.
05:41So now inside this cave is a city of knowledge and the one whom holds the Zulfiqar, Babahu.
05:52Means then this spiderweb has every reality of our being because awliyaullah come and tell
05:59us that we were all in this cave, all our souls and arwah Prophet ﷺ ordered them into
06:05the cave, that when your struggle is moving in your Mecca and all those whom are seeking
06:12a path of purifying themselves there's going to be a moment in which Prophet ﷺ grants them
06:19their hijrah, their real movement from haram, from badness towards goodness.
06:27And accompany these good shaykhs, kamil shaykhs who take them on this journey towards the city
06:34of light.
06:37And then this cave of Prophet ﷺ, this heart of Prophet ﷺ has a spiderweb.
06:42That spiderweb Allah describes it's the most frail of homes.
06:49Means your home, your bait, everything about you is going to be very frail, very subtle.
06:57Nothing of you in your life is going to be solid.
07:01You're not going to be living in a fortress and infinite amount of money, everything about
07:07your existence is frail.
07:10But Allah describes it's such a beautiful house, the best of architects.
07:16Even those who are studying architecture you should study a spiderweb.
07:20Nobody can build that now without all of your graphics and all your designs and all your
07:24equipment.
07:25How this creature by inspiration builds an amazing home.
07:32And we're not the people who have to run here and there and do everything and catch huge
07:37amounts of rizq.
07:39But Allah described the people of this cave who live inside and their reality is inside.
07:46They should at least understand their life is that spiderweb.
07:50Means build your web in life and wait for Allah to send your rizq.
07:57The flies that the spider he occupies himself building a beautiful house.
08:04As a result of that beautiful house Allah sends his rizq.
08:09He's not out like other animals hunting and trying to attack at everything.
08:15But he does his good amal, his good actions, his awrads, wazifahs and zikrs.
08:21If he's good with Allah his house like the house of the ankabut, very beautiful.
08:29When the house is perfected Allah sends the rizq, Allah sends the flies.
08:35If there's an error in that house the fly will go through, the rizq falls through the hands
08:41of that servant and they can't reach towards what Allah is sending them.
08:48So means every year we recalibrate our reality, our understanding, reminder always for myself
08:56that this rizq, this web, these awrads, this zikr our whole way is based on making sure they're
09:06the best that it can be.
09:08As soon as we have that understanding that this zulfiqar, this reality of La ilaha illallah
09:15Hu Muhammadun Rasulullah ﷺ, they are the people of Hu.
09:21And one of their blades is La ilaha illallah then it goes to Hay wa Muhammadun Rasulullah ﷺ.
09:31They are the people who carry that Hay, the Hay itself because hidayat and guidance.
09:38They guide people to these two shakhs.
09:41They don't guide people to La ilaha illallah only because what Allah want you to say La
09:47ilaha illallah for without Muhammadun Rasulullah ﷺ because He wants the perfection of faith.
09:54So these Hay and these men of God which can be men or women but they're mature, they carry
10:00that hidayat and the Hay has its own built-in wow, right?
10:06You put the Hay sometimes like this and there's a little wow hidden inside.
10:10It comes with its own love because they are the people of Hu.
10:16So they're teaching these men of God, these rijal, they are the people of the Hu.
10:22And Allah gave to them that sort of reality.
10:26And they're guiding everybody into that cave.
10:29That come and understand our life is to build our wazifahs, our awrads, our zikrs, our mafils,
10:36our salah, our zakah, our sawm, our hajj.
10:40All of that is beautiful to Allah and all of that is frail, soft, latif.
10:48If done correctly the rizq flows to that spider, to that ankabut.
10:55Then they say, look inside the cave, there were two eggs because the master of this cave
11:01is Taqalain .
11:02He is the Sultan of Malakut and Mulk.
11:07You're not going anywhere, you're going to the supreme location.
11:11Where Allah want to draw attention, eggs represent creation.
11:16This Sultan that you're trying to enter into the heart of is the Sultan of the heavens,
11:23Malik al-Hayat wa Malik al-Mulk .
11:26Mimha, Mimdaal Malik al-Hayat because Malakut is not something that can be seen but it's
11:34all alive.
11:35It is the source of life for everything that Prophet ﷺ is that Sultan and Malik al-Dunya
11:43means that anything that manifesting is under the Sultanate of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ.
11:51Then when we enter into that cave we begin to look that the presence of Prophet ﷺ is
11:56there and next to the presence of Prophet ﷺ is Siddiq al-Mutlaq .
12:04The perfected Siddiq, the perfection of truth.
12:10That he didn't mix false with truth, there's no way to lie and cheat and be a Siddiq.
12:18A Siddiq al-Mutlaq means he left all the bad character.
12:23He left the cheating, he left the lying and the deceiving and begin to sit there that
12:30Prophet ﷺ say, in this heart of mine you have to be like Sayyidina Abu Bakr al-Siddiq.
12:39He has to train you and perfect your character that the Siddiqiyah character is that you gave
12:48everything for Prophet ﷺ.
12:52And when Prophet ﷺ will ask you, what did you leave I said, I left Allah lilla Muhammadun
12:56Rasulullah ﷺ.
12:59There's nothing from this dunya to give to people.
13:03They give everything of their being for the love of Prophet ﷺ.
13:10And Sayyidina Abu Bakr al-Siddiq comes to perfect that character.
13:14How could you carry on and hold on to your badness, to your desires, to your tongue, to all of
13:20the things that are detestable to the Divinely Presence?
13:25And they teach, give it all away, walk away from it.
13:29Walk away from even who people think you are, all of it is a lie.
13:34Can we describe many years ago the song, I've been through the desert on a horse with no
13:39name.
13:41It's good to get out of the rain because in the desert there's nobody to call you and
13:46to give you your shame.
13:48Means this world knows you by a name and they gave you an image, they gave you a form, they
13:55gave all sorts of expectations by that name.
14:00And these seekers they enter into their seclusions, they realize even the name that people know
14:05me by is garbage.
14:07I don't know what they identify with that name.
14:10What is the wreckage of my past and what have I done?
14:13And they even tried to bury their name.
14:16And said then in that desert there's nobody to call you and give you your shame.
14:22Means you have to have a life in which you try to isolate from everyone.
14:26So you don't complain and say it's like a prison.
14:30You be thankful if Allah is guiding you towards real guidance because later when they walk
14:36in the desert they found out actually this desert is an ocean but with the water below.
14:44What seems to be so harsh and so horrible every desert looks harsh.
14:49But anyone who studied knows there's an ocean under the desert.
14:54So it's the reverse of this dunya, this dunya shows you its ocean is every water is everywhere
14:59and the sand is below.
15:01But what Allah wants is no walk on the sand take the hard part with the sun that cooking
15:06your head there's water below.
15:10When you're patient and good Allah will bring the water below this oceans of hayat to come
15:15out for you.
15:17But you can't pretend you're already in the hayat and think I'm going and digging towards
15:21Allah .
15:22No Allah say take the desert, take the hardship and the testing like the heat boiling
15:28your head until we bring the water out and you drink from the fountains of life.
15:35If that character of Sayyidina Abu Bakr al-Siddiq is in there because this is the month this
15:39is not the month to pass it and talk about it in Safar say, Shaykh you didn't tell us
15:43in Muharram.
15:44This is the month is that, Ya Rabbi we're asking that with all these shuhadai Karbala,
15:49all the realities of Ashura that by their blood, their struggle, their way make me to be halal,
15:56make me to be clean, make me to be purified, inspire my heart to do something right Ya
16:01Rabbi.
16:02If these are my ancestors and these are the ones whom I love I don't want to be raised ashamed
16:09in their presence where they have to say, oh my god he's here.
16:12Ya Rabbi you think they're going to be happy after what they accomplished in this life,
16:19we finally show up it's humiliating.
16:22So we're saying, no Ya Rabbi don't let me be humiliated like that, they're going
16:27to play my video for everyone.
16:29You think in that realm there's a video that your eyes are not recording?
16:33All they have to do is play your eyes back.
16:37No camera they have to bring, who's either going to bring something?
16:40Your own eyes recorded everything.
16:42If Allah describe and begin to play your eyes back for people, and I saw a show on
16:47Black Mirror, there's a series of a taqmir, everyone's eyes were recording everything
16:53and they would sit at a party and play each other's eyes, it was horrific because you
16:57could see how you humiliated at work or what you were doing in your privacy and everybody
17:02wanted to see what other people's eyes and Allah reminding, hey do you see this
17:06scene?
17:07You're going to be raised on judgment day like that.
17:11I don't even need you to talk, I'm just going to release the video from your eyes because
17:16there's a chip in the back of your head I think that calls like a pineapple thing?
17:21There's a chip in you that's actually recording everything on infinite capacity digital processing.
17:29Allah just play your eyes for people, Ya Rabbi I'm finished, grant me to have good character.
17:37They say if you want the Siddiqiyya character then sit with them and Sayyidina Abu Bakr
17:43as-Siddiq begin to come and inspire, sit with my teaching, sit with my way, leave all your
17:49bad characteristics, leave them and walk away from them.
17:54Insolate who you think you are and know that you're nobody, sit there and in that cave there's
18:00a little hole because when Sayyidina Abu Bakr as-Siddiq was sitting in the cave there was
18:06a hole where a snake was trying to come.
18:10There's a hole in which a snake was coming and Mawlana Shaykh's teaching that everyone
18:15has a black dot on their hole in which shaitan can enter into their heart and begin to immediately
18:21make them to be angry.
18:24They're like fiery people, in an instant they flame up.
18:30One word can trigger them to flame up because that hole is so open that shaitan just has
18:39easy access.
18:41Why Allah then say, no you follow the ones whom inheriting from Sayyidina Abu Bakr as-Siddiq,
18:48they're going to teach you that that hole has to be covered because Sayyidina Abu Bakr as-Siddiq
18:55was sitting in the cave, Prophet ﷺ leaning on his knee means this closeness and this reality
19:04is immense in its closeness to Prophet ﷺ.
19:08Not something small, Naqshbandiyatul Aliyya.
19:12And Siddiq al-Mutlaq is going to teach that my qadam, my foot has to be on the hole where
19:18that shaitan is coming because shaitan cannot attack the mukhlis.
19:24When they say, I'm going to attack all your servants from all directions, Allah clarified
19:28in Qur'an, no you cannot attack my mukhlis.
19:32So, when Allah loves you, He inspires you, be with these siddiqs.
19:39They will teach your qadam, your foot, your path, your way to plug that shaitan.
19:47So every advice they give, every teaching they give, every direction they give is that make
19:52your path strong.
19:55Keep your wudu, keep your practices, keep that foot on the hole.
20:00If you don't cover that hole, shaitan will be in and he will destroy everything in the
20:05heart because that shaitan was coming to bite Prophet ﷺ.
20:11You think he has a possibility to bite Prophet ﷺ, no.
20:15But what will happen is if shaitan comes into the heart, Prophet ﷺ will leave because he's
20:22not going to be in the presence of a shaitan.
20:26Unless we plug that heart and take that position and the character of a Siddiq al-Mutlaq.
20:34Understood all of those realities, the promise from Sayyidina Abu Bakr al-Siddiq is then you
20:40will be very close to Prophet ﷺ because I'll give you for my love and my inheritance, my access
20:48to Prophet ﷺ because that's what Prophet ﷺ wanted.
20:51That make your character like my beloved Sayyidina Abu Bakr al-Siddiq.
20:55If you carry that character, that truthfulness through testing, the good example and that
21:01you kept your qadam and your path upon that hole where shaitan is entering, no doubt you'll
21:06be very close to Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ.
21:11And that becomes the Divinely heart, that becomes the heart of Ishq, that becomes the heart of
21:17Ahbab al-Nabi ﷺ whom their whole being is the love of Prophet ﷺ.
21:25Their whole fragrance is the love of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ.
21:29And everything they take that love from that means they understood when they have that love
21:36and that level of love for Prophet ﷺ when the sun comes in the morning and they see the
21:42rays and the lights of the suns coming, they see that Muhammadan light it begin to touch
21:49the flowers.
21:52And the flowers because of their love for Prophet ﷺ begin to open.
21:59They can hear the zikrs, they can sense the fragrance.
22:04The flower begins to make it zikr out of its shukr, that that light shined upon it and
22:11then begins to release its beatific fragrance.
22:15And Allah say, can't you be like that?
22:18Why you think you're such big people you insan?
22:21You still can't even mimic one of my flowers.
22:26That it just stays closed at night, it takes all sorts of wind, all sorts of hardship and
22:31it prays.
22:32Especially in Vancouver poor flowers, they're praying for just one day of a ray of sun to
22:38come.
22:39And oh how it's so happy, it's praising, it's beatific.
22:42It makes you happy because you hear it too but you just don't know that you're hearing
22:46it.
22:47When the sun comes out all of Allah's creation is happy, why?
22:51This is Nur Muhammad coming and dressing them.
22:56From that morning dew when the water of creation comes, Allah said, I created everything by
23:02my.
23:03You see Allah making them my.
23:06By what?
23:07The sun and the coldness of this earth makes condensation.
23:12Through condensation when Allah is the heat of all creation and Prophet ﷺ is its coolness,
23:18to make it tolerable and inhabitable.
23:21The product of that relationship of hot and cold is a condensation.
23:27Our whole being and existence is coming from that reality.
23:31And the flowers begin to praise with the beatific praise, begin to release, oh their fragrances
23:37where people you see them walking on these trails so happy from the fragrances they're
23:41getting.
23:42Allah says, you could be so much more like that.
23:45You could become so fragrant if your character was good.
23:49That every time Prophet ﷺ shine upon you, you would be giving love and ishq to everybody.
23:55Giving good words, good fragrances.
23:57So they go home feeling perfumed, feeling light, feeling good.
24:04Not fighting and being aggressive and backbiting and lying and all the bad characteristics.
24:08We pray that Allah open for us these realities.
24:12This is the month in which Allah opens.
24:16Opens the doors, Baba Tawbah and that only Allah are lined up to take us on that journey
24:23inshaAllah.
24:24Subhana rabbika rabbil izzati amma yasifoon wa salaamun al mursaleen wa hamdulillahi rabbil
24:29wa hurmati Muhammad al-Mustafa wa bi siri surat al-Fatiha.
24:40Let's go.
