00:00It's tough to be a pioneer and there's those moments when you look back at something and
00:08you're like man you know why did that take so long to happen or why was that so hard and I
00:12think that solar will be one of those things for us societally but it's tough to take those first
00:16steps. It's the future this is where you know hopefully someday soon I'll have some grandkids
00:21and then you know that will be their future here in Dinwiddie and I want Dinwiddie to be a good
00:27community and the school systems to still be a great school system for my child and my grandchildren
00:33to still grow up in and environmentally wise I mean solar is the way it's gonna go you know I see
00:39this as a win-win for the county. Dinwiddie means a lot to us and it's a great community and it's a
00:45great county and anything to benefit Dinwiddie I am all for that. You're lucky enough to be in the
00:51location that somebody needs it I didn't have electricity when I up until I was 12 years old
00:57the thing I really like about solar is that it's really a land kind of preservation you know when
01:03if you go out for example into a farm setting and you build a new subdivision I mean that that farm
01:09is gone that's going forever you know with solar it could be deconstructed at some point down the
01:15future I mean in the future there is a shelf life of the panels in the product. Solar is going to be our
01:20best neighbor if you know if we're worried about looking at the solar farms they have came up with all
01:26kinds of solutions to put berms up and trees to where you won't see it. This helps to bring money
01:33into the community and helps my child in the long run I am definitely all for it. It's clean energy
01:38it's you know it's a good thing for the community so why why wouldn't we want it here?
