The government will provide matching contributions of up to RM600 per year, or RM6,000 for life, under the i-Saraan Plus scheme to encourage Employees Provident Fund (EPF) savings among gig, e-hailing and p-hailing workers.
Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim said the initiative aims to boost retirement savings and social protection for workers in the informal sector, who often lack access to structured savings schemes.
