44:37The Negan, Ginny storyline was such an important part of last season to then kind of take that away and build it elsewhere.
44:46It was an interesting way to go.
44:48On all levels, it was a hard scene, but a beautiful scene and she was a good walker and we were all emotional that day.
44:55I think we know, you and I, and I think the audience will know, it's exactly how it played out with Lucille.
45:06And it breaks him because he loves Ginny.

45:21Herschel, he keeps sort of expecting that maybe this time he and his mom can move past the trauma that seems to be holding them back, the Negan of it all.
45:31And every time he makes himself vulnerable and lets himself believe that they can move past it, he's reminded that they're not over it and that they're not past it.
45:41And then it hurts all over again for him and so he lashes out.

45:48To me, it's like the kernel of what could be some kind of new relationship.
45:54They got a long way to go, but for a second you could see a glimpse of the type of relationship that these two could have, that they could work through this.

46:03We end the season on Negan, Maggie and Armstrong inspired to work together to fight for a better world.
46:09And that world is not going to be the Dama's world and it's not going to be New Babylon's world.
46:13It's something else.
46:15I think that it means that this story is not over yet.
