History for the England goalkeeper after Thursday's clean sheet against Wales
Transcript
00:00He's a fantastic shot-stopper. There is no doubt about it. Today there was a challenge for him
00:05because they pressed us high and we want to escape the pressing. We want to have the chance
00:09to escape the pressing also with short passes and not only with long shots from him. So
00:15he did very well. He kept his composure. He kept calm. This is basically what we demand of him.
00:21He stayed calm. Yeah, it's in itself a great, great achievement to have eight clean sheets and
00:28he is, of course, the goalkeeper. He doesn't do it alone. So it's like always a team effort.
00:34And I think he's happy to share this with at least the defenders in front of him, but with
00:40a defensive approach that we make it the least safe possible from him. But he's doing good.
00:47He's in a good moment and still developing and still adapting to what we want from him.
00:53And that is nice to see. Well done and congratulations. Fantastic achievement.
