Ticket — Let Sleeping Dogs Lie 1972 (New Zealand, Heavy Psychedelic Rock)
In 1972, the band recorded their second album, "Let Sleeping Dogs Lie," in Melbourne. Everyone was happy except Eddie, who was becoming increasingly dependent on medication and his lifestyle. The producers had big plans: organizing The Ngaruawahia Festival with Ticket as headliners, supporting Black Sabbath on their Australian tour, and a major US tour. But these plans were never realized, as amid growing animosity within the band, they decided to take a break for several months. Their final performance at the Ngaruawahia Festival took place in November 1972. After several months of hiatus, Hansen attempted to reform the band with a different lineup, changing their sound to a funkier one, but the band disbanded in late 1973.
