26:18nominations Elsa and Marcus were on the rocks George has left the house and we've learned that

26:42I know so much has happened since we saw you last week my word let's first talk about the Caroline and
26:49Zila situation um Zila said that what happened between him and Caroline was one of the um the most
26:57divisive things that's happened in the house so far do you think they can come back they were getting on
27:03so well do you think that they can recover from this it was divisive and i think they will recover but
27:10that's because of Zila's graciousness in the situation i think he's been really sweet and understanding not
27:16that he necessarily had to take that route but that was what he chose to do and he wanted to
27:21keep the peace we've seen the rest of the housemates kind of rally around both of them a little bit and
27:26i think they've been trying to save Caroline and give her a bit of a get out of jail free card by telling
27:31her she didn't mean it without us having much of a chance to see if that was what she meant or not
27:36but we've also seen Zila in the diary room talking about having a bit of a conflict between whether he should stay
27:44true to his boundaries be a bit firmer or whether he should give in to the need to people please
27:49it's been difficult but i think they will come through it because of the goodwill of Zila
27:53yeah okay absolutely um yeah you know i think
27:59it's been awkward on the panel tonight that Zila handles himself with so much grace and decorum
28:04um you know you just mentioned there that maybe they did actually give Caroline a little bit of grace
28:10what can Caroline do actively herself do you think to to make amends well she's done a lot she has
28:19apologized and i think that's been received by the group as well as Zila she's trying to take
28:25accountability i think it would be nice i think for her to reflect on where that came from without Zila
28:32needing to do the labor of having to educate her yeah yeah yeah absolutely hopefully hopefully it's a
28:38really good learning opportunity in the house that's all we can ask for now Marcus and Elsa is it on
28:45is it off it was on it was off now it seems to be back on again what do you make of that
28:50do you know poor Elsa she's had a bit of a difficult week in there we've seen her get nominated face to
28:55face she's shown so much vulnerability she's talked about being a little bit on the sidelines as well and
29:00that's been quite hard for her obviously we saw that they had a bit of an attachment and i think
29:05for anybody remote romantic relationships can be quite triggering they can bring up vulnerabilities
29:11and i'm sure most people can relate to the idea of testing and attachment sometimes by pushing
29:16someone away to see if they kind of bring you forward but Marcus showed such emotional maturity
29:22and insight when he felt that actually maybe Elsa's not managing the attachment so well and he was going
29:27to put a boundary in and back off yeah however however however it's a closed environment and
29:33the attraction steely steely clearly persists and i think they're going to do this dance for a while
29:39we're going to see a bit back and forth between Marcus and Elsa that's it sometimes the heart wants
29:44what the heart wants or the body does at least you know what i mean the body does i mean if you fancy
29:50each other you fancy each other sometimes even if it's not always right now richard has been accused
29:55of playing a game by some housemates even though tonight farmer cameron b said it was a bs game
30:02do you think he is a game player he
30:08taking my guide from from these guys um well we've seen a few tactics i think that's that's very clear
30:14i don't think you can go into big brother with a game plan i don't think it's going to work
30:18what works in the house to curry favor will not win the viewer out out watching from the sofa you
30:25know and we've seen that with richard he chose in the moment to hoard his balls yeah
30:32a short-term gain because he's thinking okay i've got this currency now in the bag but actually
30:36alienated him from the rest of the group and that's why game playing in big brother doesn't
30:40really work so well but i think maybe there's a bit of game playing but also he's just not used to
30:45living on his own he went on a bit of a redemption arc with the cursed eye although i'm not really
30:50sure he had much choice but to accept that honestly um but then again he may be on the
30:55downward spiral again because he's decided to tell the other housemates off for their
30:59nighttime whispering i know i know that might not have put him in high favor but he has had a tough
31:05big he had to do the curry he's been in prison he he's taking a shift in he's working really hard
31:12that's my man right there
31:22well the game has worked clearly he's got some game exactly he's got some serious game
31:27what are your thoughts on cameron cameron cameron is a sweetheart isn't he he's really been the kind of
31:34beating heart of the house this week in terms of the compassion that he's had to dish out for all
31:38of the other housemates he's the first one to notice when someone feels a little bit on the outside
31:43and what he shows us is something really beautiful which is that by his own admission he is someone
31:49from maybe a slightly sheltered world he said himself he doesn't have that many friends from
31:53different backgrounds we heard that when he talked about asking about what gay clubs are all about and
31:58what goes down there um but his background hasn't stopped him approaching all of his conversations
32:03with compassion and he's done that so beautifully he's brought elsa in when she's felt sidelined
32:08he's been there for richard when richard went from snitchered back to richard again and you know and he
32:15was lovely with zila he was the one that reassured zila that look you don't have to be okay it's okay not to
32:20be all right and take the time yeah absolutely and you know he said himself that he was he was
32:26particularly you know holding on to a bit of upset from caroline's comments out of you know the defense
32:33of his friend really yeah he didn't like that at all now a lot of the gameplay accusations have come
32:40after the very first task so what are you making of the tasks i think the tasks are fantastic this week
32:45and this season is obviously different to the season i was in we didn't have any currency in the
32:50house i think that really changes the game in big brother often there is no capital big brother is
32:56the only person with power but when you introduce currency it changes the game so for the housemates
33:01we see them doing the kind of surface level of the game which is i'm going to collect my eyeballs i'm
33:05going to get the shopping in i'm going to get the shopping budget and all that kind of stuff but for us
33:09as the viewer we get to see the other layer which is okay we've introduced currency now and we get to see
33:14which housemates look after themselves or which housemates decide to look after the group and then
33:20we have the fun of deciding if we're on board with the game playing or if actually we'd rather
33:24the more kind of collectivist approach to the game but it's been great it's been interesting so good
33:29such an interesting insight thank you so much ali give it up for ali
33:37now in tonight's show we saw cursed housemates richard have to eat a cursed curry
33:43and you know us here at late in life we never miss an opportunity for a prop and some alliteration
