Peter Krug describes his story regarding his health, or rather his illness: First, Peter Krug went to the Christian Doppler Clinic's neurology department on 17 September 2025. There, Dr Andrea Janu diagnosed him with ‘polyneuropathy’. One week later, he had an appointment with a neurologist in Hallein. Dr Alexander Kunz, a neurologist, examined some of the nerves that run from the calves to the feet. The nerve conduction velocity and reflexes were normal. Dr Kunz does not think that this is neuropathy. His diagnosis was ‘tingling paraesthesia of the feet’. As Peter Krug had terrible symptoms one night but was able to sleep the next, he was very exhausted during the day. The symptoms were like a roller coaster, with the tingling getting worse after every exertion. Because the discomfort was unbearable, Peter Krug went back to the neurology department. This neurology department in Hallein is headed by Dr. Sven Huber. He suspects that this is ‘restless leg syndrome’ and prescribed Peter Krug Neupro, a transdermal patch containing ‘rotigotine’. Peter Krug has another appointment with Dr. Sven Huber in a week. An EEG will be performed.
