Heavy rainfall has caused major travel delays in airports in Boston, New York City and Philadelphia in the morning of Oct. 8. Travel conditions are expected to improve heading into the afternoon.

00:00All right, travel. I'm waiting for the delays. Yeah, they're coming because the rain is falling along the I-95 corridor. Well, there it is. OK, I was waiting for Boston. Yeah, major delays right now. We'll see that, I think, in Newark, LaGuardia, JFK, even Philly. I think at least some delays. Now, it's not going to be major all morning in Boston, but I do have moderate delays there. Same story for LaGuardia, Newark, JFK, Philadelphia International.
00:25I think they're coming. As we see more and more flights coming out of those airports, the delays will start to increase and then decrease this afternoon as we drive things out. Across the southeast, nothing in Charlotte or Raleigh. I have some minor delays for you this morning just because of the rain. Minor delays in Miami this afternoon. How about some good news? Does it always have to be bad? It doesn't. It does not. No flight delays across the central part of the United States. Just sunny and nice.
