It's rumoured the government is considering | letting shops open for much longer on Sundays because many businesses are struggling. Do you think shops should open longer on Sundays?

00:00So we've just spent 25 years living in America and what drives me crazy in
00:07Britain is that on a Sunday the shops can open from 10 till 4 whether they want
00:11to. Now I realize that workers should be protected but yeah Sunday's not a
00:15special day anymore and if it would help the shops they're all struggling so if
00:20they want to open longer I think they should be allowed to. It's fine as it is
00:24and I don't think it's going to help like the economy anymore.
00:28But probably I'm being selfish I would rather have those shops open longer.
00:33Especially in tourist places like here and there's loads of tourists that would
00:38go around on a Sunday still shopping and when the shops are closed and it's just
00:44also like so many people working shifts and it's awkward for them and I think
00:50we've gone way past when everything used to be closed and and it's completely
00:55different now and people have different types of workings.
