00:00This is not just about design from a single sector or a single industry, we have people from across the board, artists, developers, filmmakers, jewelry designers, and I think that really offers us a holistic approach into what design can bring to life, to an equation.
00:21Doha is rapidly becoming a global hub for creativity, and the Innovation by Design Summit is proof.
00:27But it's more than just a celebration of design. It's a launchpad where bold ideas turn into real-world impact.
00:37This interactive forum has quickly become a must-attend event, bringing together the brightest minds in design, business, and innovation.
00:45Doha Design District is one of the initiatives that can share a property initiative to enhance the design talks and also to be the catalyst for the movement.
00:53We need to engage the young talents with the new ideas and also to support them and create this platform to come up with a solution how we can solve a number of issues,
01:03that is tackling architecture, sustainability, technology, product design, tourism.
01:10This year's edition highlighted how new tools like AI and quantum computing are redefining the creative process.
01:17Geron Vandermost creates art pieces that have been exhibited in museums worldwide.
01:23This age which we're at, this fully digital age, you know, I believe in the power of events like this,
01:29which truly are about, you know, human connection and human engagement together again.
01:34And I'm an artist, digital artist, working with all sorts of new technologies.
01:37What you do is create installations, so computer systems that can create images on their own.
01:44So this could be all sorts of new versions of old master paintings that are created by artificial intelligence.
01:51But also a bigger project that I worked on over the past two years is that we use artificial intelligence
01:57to create Prada-like commercials for potatoes and broccoli.
02:03And that's AI is creating all sorts of luxurious imagery based on these vegetables.
02:09Beyond technology, tough conversations were had, tackling architecture, sustainability, tourism and product design.
02:17Speakers emphasized that innovation isn't just about aesthetics.
02:20It's about solving some of the world's most pressing design challenges.
02:23Too many offices in Kuwait and in the region offer the same services,
02:27sort of this kind of traditional engineering approach.
02:30We wanted to kind of step into the shoes of a more boutique-focused architectural studio,
02:36more aligned with higher-end design,
02:39and something that I thought was missing in the region and in the markets.
02:43Panelist and Saudi content creator Manal Marvelous brought her unique perspective to the summit,
02:48drawing on her experience in fashion and lifestyle.
02:51Even though they're from, like, different sectors, from, like, the design perspective,
02:57it was very informative, very helpful for me.
03:00Today I'm going to talk about, like, content creation and how to deal with brands
03:04and how to add the human side with the creative side in your content.
03:09I create content strictly around fashion and lifestyle.
03:13I don't have a team. I have myself.
03:16I made pants out of, like, bandanas.
03:18I cut bandanas and I created, like, actual functional pants.
03:22I created an outfit for a Saudi actress, Kharia Abulaban.
03:27Me and my friend, we used threads, and we tied them together in, like, a big fishnet,
03:32and we created a full jacket, a very colorful jacket.
03:35And we created it that way so when she moves or dances, everything moves with her.
03:40The summit attracted some of the most creative visionaries in the industry,
03:45including Christelle Bashara, a boundary-pushing contemporary artist
03:49known for her captivating, multidimensional works.
03:53Christelle's bold artistic vision has earned her global recognition,
03:57with collections showcased from Tokyo to Miami.
04:00I create limited editions, and I went beyond the canvas to create immersive experiences,
04:07taking my art into immersive spaces that surround people
04:11and creating projects, very immersive projects.
04:15I combined a unique style that works perfectly digitally and traditionally.
04:20So technology for me, it serves to evolve and develop my work in my business as an art studio.
04:27The most expensive, it would be around $16,000.
04:32It's an original painting.
04:34But then the second most, it's one NFT that went to $13,000,
04:39and this is for a digital file.
04:42From sustainability to social impact,
04:44this year's Innovation by Design Summit brought bold ideas to the forefront,
04:49making one thing clear.
04:50Cutter isn't just showcasing design,
04:52it's using it to drive business, innovation, and a vision for the future.
04:57It's through the future.
04:59It's beautiful.
05:00You said you can't see an AI,
05:01but what do you think we fourth favorite is to consider an AI.
05:02You live in a way of seeing these ideas on the role,
05:04it's interesting for the development of the versus OF creative efforts.
05:06And, in fact, there's been an AI.
05:07So, we talk about, in fact,
05:09that now it's part of the versus strategy,
05:10and then we talk about the ability to preserve yourself,
05:13and we start the purpose of overcoming you.
05:14So, as I gilt the role,
05:16we start to reveals other things and make it into chaos.
05:19So, I papel to new UAVD
05:22is to doubtful,
05:23as I can not see the software everywhere I can continue.
05:25So, let's have a gift to do this in the UI.
05:26So, when it comes intorico,
