Palace: Ex-DPWH chief failed to inform Marcos about removal of acceptance rule for infra projects

President Marcos only learned about the removal of the acceptance rule for infrastructure projects three years into his presidency, Malacañang said. 00:03when I was in local government, when national government came in

00:07and it was going to do a construction, they come in, they do the project.

00:11At some point, they come back to the local government executives

00:15and say, tapos na, natapos namin yung project.

00:18Inspectioning namin ngayon yun, pag nakita namin hindi maganda ito,

00:22hindi tama yung ginawa ninyo, hindi ko pipirmahan yung acceptance.

00:26Pero sa kanya pong pagkadismaya, nasyak siya itong proseso na ito

00:33ay nawala po entirely, kaya parang nagkaroon ng mga ganitong mga anomalia

00:41sa flood control projects.

00:43After three years po, why now lang nakita ni Pangulong Marcos

00:47yung pong pagkakatanggal ng mahalaga palang proseso po na yun?

00:51Ang magandang katanungan ay kung bakit tinanggal ang proseso na ito

01:04at yung ibang nagsagawa nito ay nag-crossover

01:24at ang Pangulo pa po ang siyang nakaalam at nakadiskubre

01:29kaya po siya talaga pong nadismaya sa ganitong klaseng ginawa.

01:34So matagal na po ito at kung hindi pa po nadiskubre ng Pangulo

01:37baka hanggang ngayon ay namamayagpag pa po sila.
