00:00We mentioned Miami defeating FSU 28-22, Carson Beck, Bill, on the road, I think most impressively
00:07here, through four touchdown passes in that game. And the Hurricanes right now are huge favorites to
00:13get into the college football playoff. This is not where they were a year ago. And, you know,
00:18certainly I think at this point, when you look at them and you look at the schedule, as you mentioned,
00:23it's going to require some collapse for them to not get in the playoff and not advance. And I
00:29guess the only thing, if you wanted to poke a hole at this whole conversation, is saying,
00:33hey, that's what they've done. They've collapsed the last few years. They've looked good and
00:36they've collapsed. But I don't know. Seems like a different team this year.
00:40That methodical. You know, you look at Carson Beck in short passes. I know I talk a lot on this
00:44show about intermediate and deep passes, but less than 10 yards, 90%. So there aren't needless
00:50incompletions along the way. The only powerful quarterbacks who have been better in that short
00:55passing game are Julian Sayan at Ohio State and Bo Pribula at Missouri, who we'll talk about later
01:01in the week as they get ready for Alabama. I think Carson Beck's been under total control.
01:06He really fits what Mario Cristobal and Shannon Dawson do on that offense. And again, I just look for them.
01:12They complement each other well. They're playing very good complementary football. How many times have
01:16you heard a coach say that? These guys are doing it well.
