00:00In the West region, the Gators earned the number one seed.

00:03They'll take on Norfolk State.

00:05Again, I mean, number one seeds do lose occasionally.

00:08I mean, we had it never happen,

00:09and then all of a sudden it kind of happened here,

00:11and the Gators are my team,

00:12so I'm not gonna root for that.

00:14St. John's 18 and a half point favorites against Omaha.

00:17UNC Wilmington, not a stranger

00:19to the tournament through the years.

00:20They play Texas Tech.

00:22UConn, four and a half point favorites against Oklahoma.

00:25And then Missouri will take on number 11, Drake.

00:28I see a lot of people starting brackets,

00:30taking Drake, interestingly enough.

00:32I see a lot of that.

00:34Anyway, break it down for me, Mike.

00:35Who do you like in this one?

00:37Well, there's one thing that I will say

00:38is that I've noticed over the years,

00:40and I did an article about this,

00:42gosh, it's been more than a decade,

00:44but I call it the 801 Club.

00:47And what the 801 Club is is every team

00:50that has won more than 80% of its games.

00:54Those teams are hard to get out of this tournament.

00:57And Drake is an easy member of that club.

00:59They are 30 and three.

01:01They are well above 80%.

01:03Those teams know how to win.

01:05Sometimes it comes in, as in the case of Drake,

01:09it comes in a mid-major conference,

01:12but those teams know how to win.

01:14And it often takes another member of the 801 Club

01:18to eliminate an 801 Club member.

01:20And Mizzou is not in that club.

01:22It's one of the reasons why I went along with that,

01:24and I did pick Drake to advance past Mizzou.

01:27The other reason being Mizzou really wants to go.

01:30That's their game.

01:32And Drake is going to slow you down.

01:34It's impossible for a fast team to speed up a slow team.

01:39It's very easy for a slow team to slow down a fast team.
