00:00Jack, when we discussed you coming on this podcast, you said you had some very, very, well, I would say interesting, probably depressing is probably the right word, statistics that show, you know, the home record is, you know, awful.
00:14You know, Michael Appleton's record at the moment does not make for good reading.
00:19But kind of Shrewsbury's struggles, as we already mentioned, have gone back way further than that.
00:24And you've got some statistics you want to fire at the Salop fans that underline that for us.
00:29Yeah, listen to this, please, you know, adopt the brace position now and in preparation for what's about to come.
00:36It's not pretty reading and I'm sure you can all guess.
00:38I just looked into it to try and almost quantify just how bad it's been at the club.
00:43And I mentioned before, not just this season, not just last season, but for the last decade, in fairness.
00:48So, and I'm sure there's other ones that I've missed as well, but I won't mention here.
00:52But just as a bit of an overview, in the last 10 years, no team that's been in the EFL for all of that time has got a worse goals per game record than us.
01:031.03. And again, I've got loads written down here.
01:07Looking at our win record in that time as well, again, of all teams that have been in the EFL in that period,
01:12we're the second worst of any team that's been in the EFL in that period.
01:16We've got the fifth worst goal difference in the last 10 years.
01:19We've got the fourth most losses in the last 10 years of any team in the EFL that's been in the EFL in that period.
01:26Again, even in the last five years to kind of narrow it down into that time frame, worst goals per game.
01:33We're looking at second worst win percentage again, second worst goal difference, most losses in the EFL in the last five years of 113.
01:40And it's just, it keeps getting worse.
01:44And even by our own standards, you know, this season is the worst we've seen in that period.
01:49I keep a bit of a record of kind of stats of since the time the club's been at the new stadium for six points worth in the league.
01:58Sorry, worst in our time.
02:00Seven goals scored, second worst in the time.
02:0220 goals conceded, worst in that time.
02:05Goal difference in minus 13, worst in that time.
02:07In the relegation zone, only the second time since we've been in the new ground and we've been in the relegation zone in the division in that time.
02:14The last time was in League One with four relegation spots.
02:16We've now got two relegation spots.
02:18Again, there's all sorts of records and stats out there to show this has been a club in decline for a long period of time now.
02:25And again, going back to the question before about fans' emotions, it's because of that.
02:30All those things have built up gradually, added to overtime and it's got to a point now where fans are sick of it.
02:34And, yeah, until things change higher up, unfortunately, we're probably all aware of the fact that things aren't going to change on the pitch.
02:44And that's what we're all hoping for or praying for.
02:46But again, it doesn't look like it's going to come to fruition any time soon.
02:50Yeah, if you weren't feeling great today and you've just listened to them statistics, then, yeah, I do feel a tad sorry for you.
02:57But it does, you know, it does just outline it, doesn't it, Jack?
03:00You know, we talked off the podcast, you've kind of got a lot of experience in kind of analytics and statistics.
03:06And, you know, some people in football don't kind of look at them as much as others.
03:09But that is black and white.
03:10It shows, you know, if you want entertainment, don't go to the crowd meta or what it was before, the Montgomery Orders meta or anything.
03:17Because, you know, you kind of haven't had it consistently.
03:21You know, there has been good little runs, you know, in the recent past.
03:26There's been, under Steve Cops, all the price of that was kind of under Paul Hurst.
03:29But collectively, it just, what you outline is why kind of fans have, like we say, voting with their feet.
03:35You know, with the last home game, I think the attendance was about 4,500 to 5,000 officially.
03:40But it was kind of, you know, I've got friends who were seeing ticket holders.
