(askanews) - L'agenzia delle Nazioni Unite per i rifugiati ha tagliato quasi 5.000 posti di lavoro quest'anno a causa del forte calo degli aiuti internazionali, ha afferma il suo direttore Filippo Grandi. L'Unhcr si trova ad affrontare una crisi sempre più profonda, con l'aumento degli sfollamenti globali e la riduzione dei finanziamenti umanitari dopo il ritorno in carica del presidente degli Stati Uniti Donald Trump a gennaio.

00:10And with more separations foreseen, that number is expected to grow.
