Mata Batin tells the story of Alia, who returns from abroad after her parents’ death and moves back into her childhood home with her younger sister, Abel. Abel has always claimed she can see spirits, and when Alia agrees to open her own “third eye” to understand her sister better, she begins to witness terrifying supernatural beings. As the hauntings grow stronger, the sisters must confront the dark secrets hidden in their family home.
