Singer and influencer Juliana Bonde took to her Instagram profile this Saturday (Oct. 5) to vent about what she called the “hypocrisy” of some feminists who criticize her style and behavior online.
In a story video, Juliana responded to comments she considers prejudiced and contradictory:
“You know what’s really hypocritical? There are a bunch of feminists who come here on my Instagram saying my way is vulgar, that I dress like this or that… But then, walking around with armpit hair, topless, protesting — that’s fine, right? Then it’s ‘my body, my rules.’ But I can’t be the way I want to be.”
The singer also said that, despite her bold appearance in photos and videos, she maintains a discreet attitude in her everyday life:
“I agree, that’s really who I am. But whoever thinks I go out in the streets like that is wrong. I dress decently, I respect myself, okay? But fine, if you think that’s what it is, I think so too. Still, it’s a lot of hypocrisy — pay attention. You’re the ones who decide what’s right or wrong.”
Her outburst quickly resonated with followers, sparking mixed reactions in the comments. Some supported Juliana’s message about freedom of expression and personal choices, while others pointed out contradictions in her statement.
Known for her provocative posts and her career in pop music and online entertainment, Juliana Bonde often uses social media to express her opinions on topics related to female behavior and body autonomy.
