00:00In the middle of a snow-covered forest in North America, a wanderer named Dan emerges from
00:04underground, and noticing that the perimeter seems empty, he retrieves his belongings,
00:09which were scattered around him. Now that he has regained consciousness,
00:13the survivor begins to walk through the region in search of shelter, and far away.
00:17Jack goes about his day with his younger sister Brooke, accompanied by their little dog scout.
00:22The next day, the siblings receive a visit from Donnie, another survivor, who asks about the
00:27boy's parents. However, the young man just watches him, and realizing that Jack will not answer him,
00:32the man says he will come back another time to check if they are okay. At the same time,
00:37Dan continues his journey in search of shelter, and later, the siblings go to the attic,
00:41where they prepare to sleep. Meanwhile, outside, a group of zombies remain motionless,
00:46as if unconscious. As the days go by, the creatures become increasingly agitated,

00:56inside the residence. The next morning, Jack and Brooke are confronted by the arrival of Donnie

01:35the secret rooms next to his sister and his dog. Far away, Dan begins to give up after so many days
01:40of wandering aimlessly through the thick snow, and tired of it all, he decides to end it all with
01:45his gun. At dusk, Jack rests in the living room with the other survivors when the dog alerts him that
01:50something dangerous is about to happen. Quickly, the boy takes Brooke to hide in the secret room,
01:55and soon after, he begins to feel some spasms happening throughout his body. At that moment,
02:00while they were alone in the living room, Donnie and Melanie come across a group of zombies at the
02:04window of the house and turn off the lights to hide. However, the creatures continue to try to
02:09break through the glass, and after grabbing his gun, the man notices that his wife has disappeared in
02:14an instant. Upon reaching the other side, Donnie finds Melanie lying on the floor, and before he
02:19can react, he is attacked by a creature, which easily eliminates the couple. In the morning,
02:25Dan wakes up in the middle of the forest after giving up on his plan to end it all,
02:29and when he comes across a strange blue thread, he decides to follow the trail. Thanks to this,
02:34the survivor reaches the sibling's house, and as he approaches, he is surprised by Brooke,
02:39who distracts him so that Jack can hit him with one of his tranquilizer darts.
02:42Hours later, the man wakes up in front of the boy, and while pointing his gun at him,
02:47Jack orders him to say who he is and how he managed to avoid his traps in the forest.
02:52The survivor then replies that he was once a great soldier in the past,
02:55and for that reason he learned how to deal with problems in all possible scenarios.
02:59Now that he knows how useful his prisoner can be, Jack orders him to help repair the house,
03:04as this is the only way he can earn his freedom and leave.
03:08Confused, Dan asks what needs to be done, and the young man explains that
03:12the electricity in the house has been off for some time. The problem is that the only way to
03:16generate power in that place is by using the treadmill created by the boy's mother,
03:20and while they talk about the device, the group is surprised by a zombie that appears at the
03:25living room window. Quickly, Dan picks up one of the weight plates from the floor and runs outside
03:29to eliminate the creature, striking its head several times. Outraged, Jack says that the man shouldn't
03:35have done that, since the windows are bulletproof, so the creatures will never be able to get through
03:39them. At dusk, Dan wakes up after a brief nightmare and, trying to occupy his mind,
03:45he starts walking on the treadmill, causing the power in the house to come back on.
03:49The next day, Jack leaves to check his traps scattered throughout the forest,
03:53and during his inspection, he notices that he has captured one of the zombies with his wires.
03:58At that moment, a shot is fired somewhere nearby, waking the creature, and the boy quickly runs away
04:03so as not to attract attention. At the same time, a pair of armed men appear in the forest
04:08alongside a young girl, hunting zombies throughout the region. Frightened, Jack hides behind one of
04:13the logs, and after remaining silent, he manages to stay safe while the hunters leave in search of
04:18more creatures to eliminate. Meanwhile, at home, Dan is awakened by Brooke, who tells him that he still

04:46the boy's mother's computer and tries to access the system, but since he doesn't know the password,
04:51he ends up giving up. Suddenly, Dan finds the car keys hidden on the table in the garage and tries
04:56to start the engine, but without success. He then examines the car's components in search of the

09:39the survivor is greeted by the woman, who explains that he only survived his injuries because he is
09:44infected, just like her son. She reveals that there are currently two types of infected. One type is the
09:50ferocious, who are frenzied, have no brain function, and attack everything they see. The others are known
09:55as transformers, beings capable of coming back to life even after serious injuries, and can suddenly
10:01change into an evil form. After realizing that he was infected by his wife in the past,
10:06Dan begins to worry and asks if there is any way to find out when he will change form again.
10:11The woman replies that there is no way to anticipate the transformation except with the
10:15help of a trained dog, such as Scout, who stays by Jack's side to prevent the transformations from
10:20hurting his sister. In addition, the boy's mother reveals that she is part of a specialized division
10:25of the Office of Domestic Preparedness, a group that works on studying and containing these creatures.
10:29Overwhelmed by all this information, Dan says he needs to get some fresh air and goes outside,

10:40the residence and run to hide. At the same time, the woman goes to the group carrying Brooke in her

12:16them that his transformation is approaching. Quickly, the boy is taken to the confinement room by his
12:21mother, who promises she will take him out of there as soon as it's all over. So that the woman can rest,
12:26Dan asks her to go inside, and spends the night sitting next to Jack's room with Scout. A few days pass,
12:32but the boy still seems to be transformed, so the group decides to leave him there longer. That same week,
12:38Dan runs on the treadmill to generate energy, while the woman repairs the vehicle in the garage,
12:42and Brooke plays with her brother's wires outside. However, when he looks out the window,
12:47the man sees the girl lying on the ground, and after grabbing his knife, he runs at full speed
12:52toward her. They quickly free her and notice that the girl's neck seems to have been caught in the

13:26the survivor decides to continue his journey, and after saying goodbye to his friend, he leaves.

13:36forest, Dan looks at the hair clip he had received from Brooke and decides to keep it as a memento of
13:40his little friend. Far away, Brett gathers his squad of soldiers and declares that it is time to find his

14:21through the forest toward the house, while the leader of the hunters interrogates the boy's mother
14:25in the living room. After revealing that he has discovered the woman's position as a special agent,
14:30Brett orders her to tell him where Melanie is, but the survivor says nothing, and, angered,
14:35he begins to beat her to make her talk. Upon arriving at the location, Dan realizes he has lost his weapon
14:41and decides to wait until one of the doors is free to sneak into the residence. Inside, the man meets up
14:46with Jack, and after preparing some improvised weapons, he asks the boy to stay by his side and
14:51keep his headphones on. In addition, the pair notice that a large horde of zombies is approaching
14:56through the forest, but Dan is not intimidated and begins to silently eliminate each of the
15:01hunters with his knife. After eliminating almost all of the enemies, the man sets out to rescue the
15:07woman, but ends up being surrounded by Brett and his soldiers. Quickly, Dan signals Jack to get his
15:12mother out of the room and slashes himself. The distraction allows the boy to leave the place
15:17with the woman, and upon noticing their escape, Brett orders his soldiers to eliminate them both.
15:22However, before they can do so, the trio of hunters is surprised by Dan, who awakens in
15:27his beast form, and after eliminating the soldiers, he finishes off the leader with a powerful bite to
15:32his neck. Realizing that her friend is out of control, the woman screams for Jack to accompany
15:37her to the second floor, and while the family hides in the closet, the horde of zombies approaches
15:42the residence, surprising Gabriela, who was alone outside. Sometime later, Dan wakes up in a peaceful
15:48place next to his deceased wife, who comforts him after everything that has happened, saying that he
15:53still has reasons to move on. Soon after, the man regains consciousness in front of the residence,
15:59where he comes across the bodies of all the zombies that were present during the confrontation.
16:03Concerned about his friends, Dan picks up one of the guns lying on the ground and runs to look for
16:08them, but he finds a letter left on the table by the woman. In the letter, the boy's mother says she
16:13has decided to follow her friend's advice and is heading north with Jack and Brooke, who was saved
16:17after also becoming infected. Finally, the woman asks her friend to meet her when he arrives in
16:22the northern region, because from now on, they have a new life to enjoy. Dan then gathers all his
16:28supplies for the trip, and before leaving, he comes across Gabriela transformed into a zombie and
16:33devouring her own arm. Realizing that the girl no longer has a chance to return to normal, he decides
