One dead after 'savage' Russian attack on Ukrainian railway station

Moscow has stepped up attacks in Ukraine's critical infrastructure, including railway networks and electricity grids as the winter approaches.

00:00Dozens were injured on Saturday in a Russian drone strike on a railway station in Shotska,
00:06northeast of Kiev. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky called the attack savage. At least 30
00:12people were hurt, including three children. Officials said the passenger chains were hit
00:16in quick succession. Emergency teams rushed the injured to hospitals, while others sheltered at
00:22the station. The attack is part of a wider Russian campaign targeting Ukraine's rail and power
00:28networks. Overnight, drones and missiles hit energy facilities near Chernihue, causing blackouts for
00:34at least 50,000 homes. Ukraine, meanwhile, claimed a fresh drone strike on one of Russia's largest oil
00:41refineries near St. Petersburg, sparking explosions and fire. And in eastern Ukraine, a Russian drone
00:47strike killed French photojournalist Antony Lalakan, the 14th reporter killed since the full-scale invasion began.
