00:03There are a lot of thrill and adventure, and there are a lot of people who want to relax.

00:08But other hikers, there are a lot of reasons,

00:41My first taste of a Philippine major peak was when I was 26 years old.

00:46That was in Mount Kalatungan, in Bukidnon.

02:23Nasubukan din daw ang kanyang kakayahan ng isang bundok sa Palawan.

02:28Mount Mantalingahan Uso is the highest mountain in Palawan.

02:32The trail ng Mantalingahan talaga,

02:34yung Palawan as the Philippines' last ecological frontier,

02:38kasi sobrang ganda niya.

02:40At sa bawat hike ko din, they taught me to slow down,

02:43to be more mindful at higit sa lahat to take responsibility.
