00:00Hello, Theo Parfitas here. I heard some great news about one of our SPS winners and I'm so excited to share it with you.
00:08In April 2020, Up the Garden Bath won SPS Small Business Sunday with their fantastic business.
00:18It's run by Dave and Kez and they are an excellent example of what SPS winners are all about.
00:25In 2023, they launched Unity and encouraged loads of local small businesses to get involved, including eight other SPS winners.
00:38Unity is not just a shop. It's a platform where local makers and small businesses get together to show what they're all about.
00:48As well as creating an amazing community space, shining a light on small businesses, Unity is pretty successful too.
00:57In just a couple of years, they have generated a whopping £750,000 in sales.
01:05It's important to take a moment to celebrate this achievement and I know Dave and Kez couldn't have done it without many of the vendors and the big community spirit all around them.
01:19We need more brilliant initiatives like this.
01:23Well done to you all for working together and contributing to your community in such a positive way.
