Pro-Palestinian protesters block traffic outside Israeli consulate in Los Angeles

Hundreds of pro-Palestinian protesters block traffic on a major Los Angeles thoroughfare on Oct. 2, 2025 to protest against Israel's capturing of activists in a flotilla carrying aid to Gaza, and to express anger over the ongoing conflict. The protesters gathered in front of the Consulate General of Israel in the west side of Los Angeles and stopped vehicles from traveling down Wilshire Boulevard, one of the city's principal east-west roads. Israeli forces boarded several boats carrying foreign activists and aid bound for Gaza and took them to an Israeli port on Oct. 1, disrupting a protest that had become one of the most high-profile symbols of opposition to Israel's blockade of the enclave.

00:00Who streets? I say!
00:12Let Gaza live, stop the bombs, stop the bombs, the bombs need to stop, all these experts
00:33keep saying we're running out of bombs, how many trillions of dollars are we in debt?
00:38Look at our people living on the streets in America so we can bomb and kill other people.
00:43That's ridiculous and a sick thing. That's why I'm here. I'm not Palestinian, not Arab,
00:49I'm just an American that believes what's right is right and that good should prevail.
01:08If we just allow people to live their daily lives to just ignore the oppression that's
01:21happening in the Palestinian land, they're going to turn a blind eye towards it. Sometimes
01:27you kind of have to implement your way through these people because they don't know what's
01:30going on because they're living in the west here comfortably and they don't realize the
01:34problems that the people of the Palestinian land is going through. If we can implement
01:38that and put it in front of them to show them like look, these people are in that foreign
01:43land suffering, they don't have no food, they don't have any water, they're getting killed
01:47for their identity and their lands are being taken from this entity. You have to as a human
01:53being support that cause regardless of what background, what race, what gender, what ideology
01:59and Islamic and religious beliefs that you have.
02:08I'm here because my parents came here as political refugees from Haifa, Palestine.
02:13And this is the first time that I've been able to express any kind of identity, any kind of
02:18connectedness, anything. So this is a proud moment. They've been oppressed for over almost
02:25a hundred years, you know. So this is, it's emotional. You know, it's a beautiful thing.
02:35So we're here today because we're entering two years of a U.S.-backed Israeli genocide in Gaza.
02:42And just last night, Israel attacked the 44, about 44 ships in the part of the Samut flotilla,
02:48abducted over 400 activists who were sailing to break the siege on Gaza and deliver aid.
02:53And so people are here mobilizing today to reject Israel's attack on the flotilla
02:57and to reject the two years of genocide. Just say a no to the genocide.
03:12And so to speak the city, you know.
03:14So we're here with the shouted in Gaza and Satan,
03:15We're here with the
03:28media. Please like the explanation.
03:31If you want to write them along with the city, please click it.
03:33We're here with the help of the identity.
03:35This is a secret that we do.
03:36I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry.
03:37If I were sure, we got the right to find out right now.
