00:00We crowned a new champion back at Unbreakable. We're going to crown a new Knockouts World Champion tonight.
00:06It began with this battle royal, which was won by Lane Lee and Kalani Jordan of NXT.
00:14Per Santino Morella, the last two in this battle royal, would go on to face each other one-on-one tonight
00:21for the vacant Knockouts World Championship.
00:25It was a very unexpected beginning to the events here at Victory Road, but any which way you throw it,
00:33we will make history here tonight with a brand new Knockouts World Champion.
00:38Earlier on this evening, Ash by Elegance was forced to relinquish the Knockouts World Championship,
00:43having to step away from in-ring competition.
00:45So it's come down to this with Indy Hartwell as the special guest referee, Lane Lee of TNA, Kalani Jordan of NXT.
00:53We're about to crown the new Knockouts World Champion.

01:30to the Knockouts World Championship, will challenge whomever is the champion at Bound for Glory.
01:38Indy Hartwell keeps her matchup, and tonight she gets a very close look at who her opponent will be.
01:46This is a great scouting opportunity for Indy Hartwell.
02:03Victory Road has been full of surprises.
02:06From Ash by Elegance relinquishing the Knockouts World Championship,

03:32Earlier this year, Laying Lee did challenge for the Knockouts World Championship.
03:47Knows what the pressure of a match like this can bring, but this is completely different.
03:53Everything that has transpired this evening, Zia Brookside supporting Laying Lee,

04:02but Lee's fighting for herself, trying to make history, fighting on behalf of TNA Wrestling.

04:21So everybody's been trying to think on their feet, especially the entire Knockouts division.

04:41The following contest is scheduled for one fall, and is for the TNA Knockout World Championship.

06:10between TNA's Laying Lee and NXT's Kalani Jordan with Indy Hartwell of TNA as the special guest referee.
06:22And mind you, Indy Hartwell is the number one contender for this championship come Bound for Glory.
06:28But also, company pride is at stake after what happened this past Tuesday night,
06:32especially great sportsmanship here that we've shown between Jordan and Lee.

06:40I mean, quite frankly, I don't want her to remain impartial, if I'm being honest with you.
06:46But I think she's more focused rather on, she has to talk about compartmentalizing, excuse me.
