00:03JD Weatherspoon's sales and profits have grown over the past year.
00:08The company, which operates nearly 800 pubs across the UK,
00:13reported revenues totalling £2.13 billion for the year to July 27th.
00:18This was 4.5% higher than the year before,
00:22while sales on a like-for-like basis,
00:24which strips out the impact of pub openings and closures,
00:27rose by 5.1%.
00:29The group's pre-tax profit jumped by a tenth to £81.4 million for the financial year.
