00:00What's up, everybody? My name's Trey. This is Ramsey. Welcome back to Better Days Sports, sponsored by nobody, because we don't have a sponsor yet.
00:11So if you want to be sponsored, you know, help us by commenting so you can get some free shout-outs or something. We would appreciate it.
00:18But on this episode of the podcast, we have a new segment coming to you, and one I think you're really going to like.
00:27So we are calling this segment Better Days Lineups. Basically, this is a start-em and sit-em type of segment.
00:39Ramsey's basically going to be going over who you should start and who you should sit for your fantasy team.
00:46And in this video specifically, we are going to be talking about quarterbacks.
00:50But if you are somebody that's new to the channel, new to the podcast, make sure you hit the subscribe button and notification bell to get notified every time we post a video.
00:56And leave a comment in the comment section down below.
00:58How do you feel about these picks? Would you start somebody that he benched?
01:02Would you bench somebody that he is now starting? We would love to see your comments down there.
01:07But Ramsey, go away and take us on whatever type of ride you got us going on, my boy.
01:13Okay, man. I got a couple of these. I'm just going to keep it real quick, simple, close to the cuff.
01:18For those of you who love fantasy football like I am, we take this serious.
01:24We really think that we're GMs up in here with the two picking our mouths and we're over here wondering who needs to leave and who needs to come join the team.
01:30So I take it as serious as the next man and I think man or woman.
01:34And I think that when it comes to these picks, I feel confident.
01:37I think if you make these picks, you're going to win your week.
01:38So let's go ahead and get started. And let's start it out with quarterbacks.
01:41So number one on my list, I think you've got to start Stafford.
01:44You've got to start Matt Stafford with the Rams. He's playing the 49ers.
01:48And I get that they normally have a very good defense, but it's not as strong as it used to be.
01:54They lost a various ward in the offseason and they are dealing with a couple of injuries on both offense and defense.
01:59And we already know what Stafford did against the Colts last week.
02:02So it goes without saying that he's going to put up some points.
02:05You know what he does. He sees Puka. He sees Devontae. He sees Cheese.
02:08So we're definitely going to start Matthew Stafford today for your lineups.
02:13And at number two, my streamer pick for the week, I got Dak Prescott, guys.
02:19Yeah, I know. I know. Dak Prescott without C.D. Lamb. Are you on something?
02:23Listen, hear me out. Hear me out. Did you watch the game last week?
02:27They didn't lose. They didn't win, but they didn't lose.
02:30And Dak Prescott was a really big reason of that,
02:32because how did Dak Prescott score 40 points with George Pickens, Jake Ferguson,
02:38and whomever else that they have in company?
02:41I'm sorry, no disrespect to Tobert, but they don't really have the weapons that they should have
02:45with the Cowboys for them to put up 40 points against the Packers defense of all teams.
02:49So I think, arguably, Prescott is playing at an MVP-type level.
02:53I can't believe I'm saying this right now, but I think he is.
02:55And if it wasn't for Prescott, Lions would be going fishing or whatever they do down in Dallas
03:02to keep themselves happy.
03:03So I definitely think you've got to start Prescott.
03:06He plays the Jets defense.
03:07I know you've got to deal with Sauce Gardner and company,
03:09but they haven't looked as strong as they need to look.
03:12And I think that right now, Dak Prescott is just better than what defenses are throwing at him.
03:17So I think for streamer picks, you've definitely got to put Prescott in your lineup.
03:21And quarterbacks for number three, this isn't going to be a start.
03:25This is going to be a sit.
03:26I know that we're dealing with Baker Mayfield Mania right now.
03:29He's playing absolutely amazing,
03:30and he has Tampa Bay looking good with the injuries that they're dealing with.
03:34He looks like they haven't skipped a beat.
03:36I know that they've had a couple of tough matchups,
03:40but yeah, I don't think that I'm going to go with Baker Mayfield this week.
03:44I think right now, just looking at how the setup is,
03:49I don't think that this is going to work out for him.
03:51I think that right now, you need to sit back, scale,
03:54and weigh your assets for Baker Mayfield,
03:56because they go up against the Seahawks defense.
03:58And the Seahawks defense is the best defense in the league.
04:02And that is not an opinion on paper.
04:06It's a fact.
04:06They terrorize teams.
04:08And as good as Baker is, and as good as he makes that offense look,
04:12I think that he's going to struggle.
04:14I mean, we saw how the Eagles gave him some fits.
04:17He figured it out, but they still made his life hell.
04:19So if you have the option to sit Baker Mayfield,
04:23I would sit him right now.
04:24But I get it, sometimes you have the option, sometimes you don't.
04:27But if it was up to me,
04:28and I have Baker Mayfield going up against the Seahawks defense,
04:30I would be looking at other options if I had the opportunity.
04:33But coming in at number three on the start list,
04:38I'm going to have Herbie, you know?
04:41Justin Herbert.
04:43Yes, I know.
04:44I think that he has been having arguably an MVP-type level this season.
04:48This is the best that we've seen Justin Herbert ever, if you ask me.
04:51And he's making all of his receivers look great.
04:55He's making himself look great.
04:57Harbaugh has this offense humming on a whole other tune.
05:00And I think because they lost to the Giants last week,
05:04I think that Herbie and Coa is definitely going to have something to say this weekend.
05:08So you have to start them.
05:09And I will go so far as to say it's Keenan Allen, Quentin Johnson,
05:13and Ladd McConkie are going to get touchdowns this game
05:14because I think that offense is going to be that electric.
05:17So stay tuned to find out.
05:18But I'm definitely putting Herbie in my starting lineup for sure.
05:21If you have them.
05:23And rounding out the sit list, I have two quarterbacks.
05:28If you have Bo Nix and C.J. Stroud, I would sit both of them.
05:31Just looking at how this is going to shake out for them.
05:34Bo Nix plays the Eagles.
05:35We already know about the Eagles.
05:36Defending champions, that defense is no joke.
05:38I wouldn't do that to your team.
05:40And the only reason that I say sit C.J. Stroud is
05:43Texas offense hasn't looked the way that it's supposed to
05:47or what we're used to when it comes to the productivity that C.J. Stroud is able to produce.
05:51And a lot of that falls on the lack of Joe Nixon.
05:54The offensive line doesn't give him any type of time to throw the ball.
05:58If you can't throw the ball, you can't move the ball downfield.
06:00If you don't have a running back, you can't advance the ball downfield.
06:03It's not really C.J.'s fault.
06:04I'm not starting him because they're not giving him a chance to let them be great.
06:08So if you have C.J. Stroud, I will look at a different option.
06:12Like Geno Smith, he plays Indiana.
06:14He's looking for a bounce-back game.
06:16He struggled against the Bears.
06:17I will go with Geno Smith over C.J. Stroud this week.
06:20And I think that that would work well for you to gain some extra points
06:24instead of running the risk of C.J. getting sacked and losing points.
06:28Just let Geno Smith throw it downfield to Tucker or to Myers
06:32or hand it off to Gene T.
06:34He's looking really good too, but we'll get to them in a minute.
06:36But I think, yeah, the Bonek, C.J. Stroud, I would definitely sit them.
06:40And my special shout-out for the week is going to be Daniel Jones.
06:44He threw two interceptions.
06:46The 3-0 start is over.
06:49They are now 3-1.
06:51I'm not going to say too much to that because even though they lost,
06:57it was a really good game against two really good teams when you look at it
07:01down to the nitty-gritty.
07:03They should have won that game.
07:04Won't get into specifics on why certain receivers had issues holding on to the ball
07:11or holding penalties that prevented touchdowns, but another touchy subject.
07:16Yeah, he's going to – look at Daniel Jones.
07:19He's going to be back in New York.
07:21He's going back to New York, and I think this is going to be the first time
07:24they're just going to be back in New York since they kicked him out of New York.
07:27I'm not even going to say they traded him.
07:28They kicked him up out of there.
07:29First thing smoking.
07:30They let him go.
07:32Exactly.
07:33They got him up out of there.
07:35So I think after losing a close one to the Rams, going to New York,
07:43your team is looking good.
07:44You know that you're a big reason because of that.
07:46I think that this is going to be the biggest moment of Daniel Jones' career,
07:51and I'm starting him for that reason.
07:53And that is going to round out my better days lineup for starting
07:58and sitting quarterbacks for the week.
08:00What do you think so far of the picks, man?
08:02You got any opinions on what I've given out to the crowd?
08:05I'm not going to lie.
08:06I really like them.
08:07So big thing with me when it comes to fantasy, it's not necessarily the quarterback.
08:12It's the matchup that I find more interesting.
08:15Like you said, Baker has been cooking this year.
08:18But when you're playing arguably the best defense in the league,
08:22you might want to look to some other options to get you some points on your fantasy team.
08:27But no, I love everything about this.
08:28I think it'll be interesting as we go over this week by week to kind of see
08:32what your record might be going forward when it comes to these quarterbacks.
08:37So really excited to kind of bring this segment to you.
08:40Like I said, better days, lineups, start them and sit them.
08:45This will be a staple.
08:46We're going to have this on a weekly basis.
08:47I don't know how we're going to transition this into different sports,
08:50but we'll figure it out.
08:51So is there anything that you think may be a hot take?
09:01In terms of quarterbacks or just in fantasy in general?
09:05Whatever you got.
09:06Fantasy in general, probably.
09:07Fantasy, hot take.
09:10Probably some panic selling, probably some panic buying from all these injuries.
09:13Oh, there's a lot.
09:14There's a lot, but I really want to stick to quarterbacks.
09:17I really want to stick to quarterbacks.
09:20The two biggest ones right now that the hot takes is we have two new quarterbacks joining the mix.
09:24We have Jackson Dart and Dylan Gabriel out of Cleveland,
09:28who has just announced today that he's going to be the starter for the upcoming game.
09:31So I know that Dylan Gabriel is available in the league.
09:34So if you want to take a shot on him, on a blind guess, to see how he's going to perform, go for it.
09:39Sometime in those big leagues, you can just go out on a shot in the prayer and hope that you strike gold.
09:44Dylan Gabriel could be it.
09:46Same thing for Jackson Dart.
09:47I know he lost from the league neighbors, but as we saw in that game, kid can run.
09:51He was darting all over the place, as they said on the first day.
09:54Hey, I like that.
09:55So I think that, you know, those are really two great streamer options.
10:00I think that one out of those two quarterbacks are going to have great second halves of the season.
10:06I'm not going to say both, but I'm saying one out of the two.
10:09Now, who out of that two is going to be?
10:12You're going to have to pick them up on the waiver wire to find out.
10:16Interesting.
10:16And it really doesn't matter.
10:18If your quarterback's hurt, you've got to pick up somebody anyway.
10:20Might as well give a shot in the dark.
10:22Yeah.
10:22Roll the dice.
10:23You've got to try some new things.
10:24You just can't be scared your whole life.
10:26What's going on, y'all?
10:26So I'm about to just go ahead and dive into it really quick.
10:29And we already know that sometimes running back can make or break our team matchup for the week.
10:34So I think I have a list of people that will not only make your week, but will make your team moving forward.
10:41So let's go ahead and get started to it.
10:43Number one we got on the list, we got Chubba Hubbard, a.k.a. Hubba Bubba Max.
10:47Running back for the Carolina Panthers.
10:49He plays the Dolphins this week, and he had an okay game last week.
10:53The offense really got embarrassed.
10:55They only scored three points.
10:57I think they lost that game 45-3, if I'm not mistaken.
11:00So he needs a bounce-back game.
11:02The Dolphins defense is weak.
11:04We saw what the Jets did to the Dolphins defense.
11:06I think that goes without saying.
11:07So definitely putting Chubba Hubbard in your starting lineup.
11:10And I think that he's definitely going to get a touchdown this week, too.
11:12So definitely want to put him in that flex lineup and let him run.
11:16And my streamer pick for the week, shout-out to the New York Giants.
11:22We got Cam Scadaboo.
11:23Listen.
11:24Scadaboo!
11:25Scadaboo!
11:27Look, I did not see this coming.
11:29I can't even believe that I'm telling you this right now.
11:32And he has slowly but surely become the glue guy, the heart of that New York Giants offense.
11:40I mean, for all of the talent that they had and all of the drafted talent that was highly touted that the Giants have made,
11:50Cam Scadaboo looks to be the best one out of the bunch.
11:52And that's saying a lot, right?
11:55And I get it that Jackson Dard only played one game.
11:57I get it.
11:59But Cam Scadaboo looks good.
12:01I mean, he looks like he fits the New York mold.
12:04And that is why I have Cam Scadaboo as my streamer pick of the week.
12:07And I think he's going to get another touchdown.
12:09And that'll be game number three in a row that he gets a touchdown.
12:12So we're going to let it ride.
12:14I think he's going to be the back that you need to watch out for if you see him on the lineup.
12:17And if you see him on that waiver wire, you need to get him now.
12:19Not tomorrow.
12:20Right now.
12:22Number three on the list.
12:23Oh, reliable.
12:24So Alvin Kamara, running back for the Saints.
12:28They have been going through a little bit of an offensive renaissance
12:32in the New Orleans Saints organization.
12:35And I don't mean that in a good way.
12:36I get it that you're running with Spencer Rattler and you're trying to figure the offense out.
12:39And I get you trying to give the young man a chance.
12:41But you have Alvin Kamara in the backfield.
12:45Run the damn ball.
12:47I mean, I get that you have options and you want to have a multiple back front.
12:50But this is Alvin Kamara we are talking about.
12:55He is what you think about when you think about New Orleans football outside of Drew Brees.
13:00And he has produced with good teams and with bad teams.
13:04At the end of the day, you know that he's going to be there.
13:06You know he's going to give you at least 60 to 100 plus yards, a touchdown and some flair.
13:11So you have to start Alvin Kamara this week.
13:14I know he's been off for a couple of weeks, but that's not been his fault.
13:16That's just because the offense has been trying to do too much when they need to trust their gut and run the ball.
13:21That should be the segment for this.
13:22Run the damn ball.
13:24That's what we should name this.
13:25That's how I feel, you know.
13:28Moving on to the next start on the list.
13:32The arrival has finally come for Ashton Ginty.
13:37I mean, goodness gracious.
13:41Before Sunday's game, he was averaging less than five yards a carry.
13:47And they were calling him a bust.
13:49They were saying that he is the next Trent Richardson.
13:52And all it took was one game against the Chicago Bears, quote unquote, strong defensive front.
14:01Quote unquote.
14:02That man put a hat trick on those Bears.
14:04He had a receiving touchdown and a rushing touchdown.
14:09I don't.
14:11The sky is the limit for Ashton Ginty.
14:14I think that he's going to get one to two touchdowns this week.
14:17And looking at how he is looking for this offense, if he continued, if he can produce a fraction of what he produced on Sunday, he's going to be a top five back for fantasy moving forward.
14:28And I don't take that lightly.
14:31If you sold low on Ashton Ginty, congratulations.
14:36Because you just got your lead back.
14:38You got your bell cow.
14:38He's here.
14:39He's figured it out.
14:40The Michael Myers stance is back in the backfield.
14:43And it looks like his boys have stayed all over again.
14:45And if anybody has Ashton Ginty, you should love it.
14:49You should love it.
14:49So, let's see.
14:53For breakouts, I'm going to start Trayvon Henderson this week.
14:58And I say that for a couple of reasons.
15:01You know, he looked electrifying in the preseason, right?
15:06The team was very high on him on how he performed.
15:08They loved what they saw.
15:09But he was buried in that backfield, Ramondre.
15:12Stevenson was still the lead back.
15:14That is who they had paid for them to be the back for, Drake Mayne.
15:20Then fumbles started happening.
15:21Then like a production started happening.
15:23And Trayvon Henderson got 12 touches on Sunday.
15:26And I see that number continuously going up for Trayvon Henderson.
15:29So, I think that he's going to definitely be the watch out breakout candidate coming soon in terms of running backs.
15:36All he just needs is that gradual increase in touches, go from 14 touches to 16, from 16 to 18.
15:43Give him some schemes, and he's going to put up points.
15:46He's going to give you touchdowns.
15:47Because you already know what he does when he gets in the open field.
15:50He just needs the touches to get there.
15:52So, I'm definitely starting Trayvon Henderson.
15:53He should be available in some leagues still.
15:56I'm not too sure yet.
15:57But if you see him on your waiver wire, you should definitely pick him up.
16:00I know that the New England offense gets a lot of hate.
16:04But Drake Mayne looks good.
16:05And it's going to look better when Trayvon Henderson breaks out.
16:10Because he's the back that can catch, too.
16:12So, you might have watched out.
16:13You remember how Alvin Kamara looked really good?
16:15He has that potential.
16:17So, definitely, definitely start Trayvon Henderson this week.
16:20And also, streamer shout out to Quinshawn Jenkins.
16:25Who has turned into the lead role running back for the Cleveland Browns.
16:31Honestly, he has turned into the focal point of the offense currently.
16:34At least that's how it was last week.
16:35Against the Detroit Lions.
16:37And, I mean, listen.
16:38When you can go into Detroit as a rookie.
16:42Score a touchdown.
16:44And go over 80 yards rushing with that defense.
16:48Hey, that's to you.
16:50In terms of fantasy.
16:51Depending on which lead you win.
16:52He gave you an estimate to 17 to 21 points.
16:55And the weekend before that, he gave you 17 to 21 points.
16:58So, I have Quinshawn Jenkins becoming a top five, top ten running back in this league.
17:02If they continue to make him the focal point.
17:04I don't care if Dylan Gabriel is the starting quarterback now.
17:07It's going to be a situation of run the damn ball.
17:11I feel like a broken record at this point.
17:13Just run the ball.
17:14Anybody on this list so far.
17:17Give it to them.
17:18You're probably going to have a really good chance of winning on Sunday.
17:22And, last but not least.
17:25Streamer Woody Marks.
17:26As we said earlier, Joe Mixon.
17:28We don't know what the hell is going on with him.
17:30We don't know if he just wants his privacy.
17:31We don't know if the injury is more severe than what they're leading it on to be.
17:35And, when there's opportunity.
17:39Woody Marks said, I'm going to take that and I'm going to run with it.
17:42No pun intended.
17:43And, he looks like he's going to be the lead back moving forward for the Houston Texans.
17:48Which, they need all the help they can get.
17:50C.J. Shroud is running for his life.
17:52He doesn't have enough time to throw to Nico Collins or the rest of his receivers.
17:55So, he could use a back that could get him some pressure.
17:59To give him some space.
18:00Give him some time to breathe.
18:02So, that this Houston Texans offense can continue to make their run.
18:05And, be the quote unquote best team in the AFC South.
18:09As some claim that they are.
18:10So, Woody Marks definitely should be available.
18:13Depending on how deep your league is.
18:14But, if you need a running back.
18:16Because injuries are definitely mounting up.
18:18Take a chance on Woody Marks.
18:19I think that you'll be pleased with your choice there.
18:22And, last but not least.
18:24We got to talk about the sits for the week.
18:26I don't like to list a lot of running backs that you should sit.
18:29But, the two that I'm going with this week are Chase Brown and Kenneth Walker.
18:33Aka K-9.
18:34Running backs for the Bengals and the Seahawks, respectfully.
18:37The Bengals offense just looks bad.
18:39Chase Browning is not getting it done.
18:42He can't even get the ball to T. Higgins and Jamar Chase.
18:45Getting it to Chase Brown is a struggle in itself.
18:47Chase Brown can't produce.
18:48He doesn't look like the back that he was last year.
18:51I don't know if we can attribute that just to how disastrous this offense has been.
18:55Or, if he's just taking a step back from what we are used to seeing from Chase Brown.
19:00But, I would definitely sit Chase Brown now and moving forward.
19:03At least until Joe Burrow comes back and salvages whatever season the Cincinnati Bengals have left.
19:08And, for K-9.
19:10The only reason I'm sitting him is because they have a dual running back system in Seattle.
19:13And, it's pretty damn good.
19:15You have K-9.
19:16And, then you have Charbonnet as well.
19:17And, if you're going to ask me, I think Charbonnet looks like the better back.
19:21I don't know if that's just because it's age.
19:23But, just in terms of the scheme that they have, he looks better fit for the mold.
19:29Now, K-9 is still K-9.
19:31We're not taking that away from him.
19:32But, all I'm saying is you sit him because his touches are slowly getting taken away from him.
19:36He's not the bail cow running back that he was when he first came into the league.
19:40And, if we realize how he was when he was in Seattle when Gino was the quarterback, they started splitting those reps up even when Charbonnet was a rookie.
19:48So, now they are similar to the Detroit Lions.
19:52Jameer Gibbs, David Montgomery, Charbonnet, K-9.
19:57It's one of those modes in the offense that works for some teams.
19:59And, that's just the mode that the Seahawks are going with moving forward.
20:02So, I would definitely proceed with caution.
20:04If you can't sit him, you have to roll the dice and take your chances.
20:07But, if you do, I would see if you could go with any of the streamers that I listed above.
20:11But, that is my RBs for the week.
20:14The Better Days RB lineups for the week.
20:17How do you feel about the picks that I've given to the public community?
20:21What do you think so far?
20:22You think I'm leading them astray or you think I gave them a good blueprint?
20:26No.
20:26You know, on this one specifically, I think you know what you're talking about.
20:29I think you know what you're talking about.
20:30And, I just want to put out there, I want to go ahead and just claim as the Scadaboo guy,
20:37now.
20:37Oh, yeah.
20:38Scadaboo has the run style that I love to see in a running back.
20:42It's not necessarily conducive to having a long career in the NFL.
20:47When you run aggressive, when you seek out contact, it most times takes a beating on your
20:53body.
20:53But, I absolutely love the way that he runs the ball.
20:56And, it just gives that Giants team just a different type of aura about him.
21:01So, Scadaboo and Gentry.
21:03I was really excited to see his breakout game.
21:04I guess as soon as he changed his stance of, I'm not standing straight up.
21:10I bent my legs, you know, two degrees.
21:12That somehow makes him not be able to run the ball.
21:15I'm not exactly sure.
21:17But, I am excited to see them kind of lean on him a little bit more.
21:20As we've seen, Gino's not afraid to throw it to the other team.
21:23So, maybe if they can lead on Gentry, stop some of the turnovers, really excited to see
21:27that.
21:28All right, guys.
21:29Welcome back to Better Days Lineups.
21:31And, we are getting into the wide receivers of the league for week five.
21:36So, I'm going to just do it a little bit different for this one.
21:40For number one, it's not one receiver.
21:43It's three receivers.
21:45I want you to start all of the Chargers receivers.
21:48That's Conkey.
21:49That's Johnson.
21:50That's Keenan Allen.
21:51If Herbert is throwing the ball, I need you to start the receivers.
21:54Because, all of them are cooking.
21:55It's like Keenan Allen comes back to the Chargers and he's revitalized.
21:58It's like he never left.
21:59We're looking at borderline Pro Bowl level production from Keenan Allen.
22:03Quentin Johnson.
22:05Oh, okay.
22:05I thought he was a bust.
22:06I thought he couldn't catch.
22:07I thought he had bricks for hands.
22:09No.
22:09I just think he was a late bloomer.
22:11I didn't know.
22:13A very late bloomer.
22:15But, still, hey, this season, he looks good.
22:19He's a deep ball threat.
22:21He went off in week one.
22:23He made the Chiefs defense look like they should have been doing a scouting report on him.
22:28And, I think that the Chargers offense and their receivers as a whole,
22:33you got Herbert, you got Johnson, you got Keenan Allen, you got McConkey.
22:37I, you, start them.
22:39Start all of them.
22:40If you're thinking about it, do it.
22:41Just start them.
22:42If you see them on a waiver wire, which I don't know how at this point in the season,
22:46pick them up, start them, sleep well at night.
22:49Now, let's go ahead and get to one of my special picks.
22:53We're starting Marvin Harrison this week.
22:55I'm sick of the Marvin Harrison disrespect.
22:57I know that we've been talking about him being a quote-unquote bust.
23:00I thought that was egregious.
23:01I'm like, listen, I just think that he has the yips.
23:04I think he just needs to take a deep breath, settle in, settle into the game,
23:09whether that's a touchdown, whether that's a good slant route.
23:12But he just needed the game to slow down a little bit.
23:15And what happened on Thursday night football last week against the Seahawks?
23:18It happened late, but it happened.
23:21It happened.
23:22He got that back shoulder throw in the corner,
23:25and it's almost as if the weight had been lifted from his shoulders.
23:29It had to be.
23:30After the game that he was having, I'm like, sheesh.
23:33You're right.
23:34I mean, Kyler Murray had two interceptions that game,
23:37and neither one of them were his fault.
23:39They were Marvin Harrison's fault.
23:40So, yes, I get it from the mental aspect,
23:43but I think that we finally are starting to see the uptrend for Marvin Harrison
23:47for not only now, but for the rest of the season,
23:50and hopefully for the rest of his career.
23:51So you definitely got to start him this week.
23:53And they're playing the Titans.
23:55A very, very underwhelming and weak defense.
23:57I think he's going to feast today as long as Kyler Murray can get the man the ball.
24:03So definitely puts Marvin Harrison in your starting lineup.
24:06Don't think about it.
24:07He is not a bust.
24:08He just had the yips.
24:09He had to grow through it, and he is here.
24:11So trust the man.
24:13Moving on to the next individual on our list,
24:15I have Mr. McMillan, Tetris, however you want to call it,
24:21for the Carolina Panthers.
24:24I think that he is finally, finally going to get that elusive touchdown
24:28that he has been hunting all season so far.
24:31He has already had a 100-yard game.
24:33He's already shown that he is the most targeted receiver
24:35for the Carolina Panthers offense.
24:37He's being targeted an uncomfortable amount of times for a rookie receiver.
24:41Receiver, period.
24:43You have to start him.
24:44I don't care if he's dropping balls.
24:45He's a rookie.
24:46Let him grow through it.
24:47He's getting the targets,
24:48which means he's giving you opportunities to get points and to score.
24:51That's really why we're here, right?
24:52So definitely put – I'm calling him Tetris.
24:56I don't care what nobody says.
24:57If that is coined here, that is his nickname.
25:00Tetris McMillan for the Panthers.
25:02You heard it here first.
25:03A Better Days lineup exclusive.
25:05We need to get some sound effects.
25:07I definitely need to get like a –
25:08Don't worry.
25:09Look, I might not be a great editor, but there will be some exposure.
25:13Don't worry.
25:13I got to get it.
25:15Yeah, I'm getting –
25:16Moving on to some of the sleeper receivers for this week.
25:23And just overall, if you do not have Emeka Ekbuka in your lineup,
25:28if he is somehow still on a wafer wire,
25:29or if you were smart enough to draft him, kudos to you or go get him because he looks like the most consistent receiver for the Buccaneers
25:39and one of the most consistent receivers overall so far through the first four weeks of the season.
25:44He looks really good.
25:45I've heard nothing but great things from him out of the Buccaneers camp from both Mike Evans and Baker Mayfield.
25:51And really quick tidbit, Baker Mayfield said that he was calling out a play,
25:56and Ekbuka corrected him on the play.
25:59Mike Evans said that Ekbuka caught his touchdown week one.
26:03I wish we had that soundbite.
26:05And this is a rookie?
26:07Ohio State, wide receiver you.
26:09Start the man.
26:10Need I say more?
26:11He is the next great wide receiver coming out of Ohio State,
26:15and you need to have him in your lineup, on your team, period.
26:20Start him for the rest of the season.
26:22I don't care when Goodwin comes back, even though he came back last week.
26:25I don't care how long it takes for him to get used to the offense.
26:29I do not care.
26:30You have to start Ekbuka.
26:31Ekbuka has proven that he is going to be one of the very vital pieces of that Buccaneers offense moving forward.
26:38Moving on to another streamer, Devontae Adams.
26:40Can we talk about the revitalization of Devontae Adams in his football career this season?
26:45I mean, he looks damn good with Stafford throwing him the ball.
26:48Not Derek Carr.
26:51Not post-Green Bay Aaron Rodgers.
26:55Post-Achilles, yeah.
26:56Yeah, post-Achilles Aaron Rodgers.
26:59This is what Devontae Adams needed.
27:03He needed a trusted, veteran, savvy, and patient quarterback.
27:09And that's everything that Matthew Stafford is.
27:12And Matthew Stafford understands who Devontae Adams is.
27:14He is a system receiver where you get him the ball.
27:17He is open.
27:18You just have to get him the ball.
27:20Stafford understands that.
27:22And that is the language that Devontae Adams speak.
27:24So, yes, if you were leery about Devontae Adams this season, I know he used to be a top-five receiver in the league in terms of fantasy and overall.
27:33I won't say that he is there anymore.
27:36But in terms of fantasy points, he's definitely a productive top-10, top-15 receiver easily.
27:42So definitely have to start him this week.
27:44Matt Stafford has revitalized Devontae Adams, so I think that we can all breathe easily on that front.
27:49But a special sleeper receiver pick that I have, streamer for the week, Romeo Dobbs, Green Bay, is somehow proven to become the number one receiver in Green Bay.
28:05And arguably, Jordan Love's favorite target next to Tucker Craft.
28:10I get that Matthew Golden is their rookie receiver who's supposed to be the game-breaker.
28:16And he's still growing.
28:17I'm not going to say that he's not there yet, but he still has to develop into what he needs to become for that offense.
28:25He's not dropping balls when they get thrown his way.
28:27He is productive from the sense of when he is targeted, he does catch the ball.
28:33It's just not there yet for him.
28:34So Romeo Dobbs, on the other hand, he's catching fade routes.
28:37He's in the slot.
28:38He's turning it into the gadget receiver that Detroit likes to do with Amon Ra.
28:43Jordan Love is just doing it in Green Bay with Romeo Dobbs.
28:47So I definitely would definitely take a streamer on Romeo Dobbs if he's available in your fantasy league.
28:54I think if I check this morning, I think he's available in my league.
28:57So I'm definitely about to pick him up on my own accord.
29:00So I'm not giving you any advice that I wouldn't take myself.
29:03So definitely have to be on the lookout for Romeo Dobbs.
29:05He's definitely going to be a surprise or sleeper if you need a quick fix in your lineup on a bye week or just if you want to take a flyer on him because the Green Bay Packers are playing a weak defense and Jordan Love likes to throw a deep.
29:15So my sits for the week for the wide receivers, I'm going to go with only one.
29:23Chris Godwin for the Buccaneers.
29:24I think you said him this week.
29:26And the only reason I say that is because they play the Broncos, I believe, if I'm not mistaken.
29:35And you don't want to deal with that type of defense.
29:40Actually, you know what?
29:40I'm actually wrong.
29:41They play the Seahawks defense and that's the best defense in the league.
29:45You don't want to play Chris Godwin, who's just coming off of a significant injury, who just came back to be put up against the strongest defense in the league currently through the first four weeks of the season.
29:55So I would tread very cautiously with the Goodwin matchup with the Seahawks.
30:03But that is my wide receiver picks for the week, guys.
30:08That is your Better Days lineup for your receivers.
30:12How do you feel about the picks so far, man?
30:14Receiver City.
30:16These are my picks.
30:17This is my sheet.
30:18Tell me what you feel.
30:20I love it.
30:22I especially like you sitting Godwin.
30:25I know some people are going to be really excited to kind of get him back into the lineup as he is healthy.
30:29But I don't think, you know, first game back playing the best defense is necessarily where you want to bring him in at.
30:34So if he does play, I'm sure he will be healthy.
30:37I don't think his numbers will be necessarily like that.
30:39So I do appreciate you sitting him.
30:42Now, my favorite on this list is actually Marvin Harrison Jr.
30:48I feel like he's really going to have a breakout game against the Titans, one, because it's the Titans, and he needs it.
30:55It seems like the first half or even really the first, it seems, two and a half, if not three quarters of last game, I don't know what's going on with him.
31:04His hands just were not working in the slightest.
31:07But obviously, you saw that he turned it around at the end of the game, and I feel like they have a little bit of momentum going forward.
31:12Obviously, the game did not end how they would have liked, but it is nice just to see him get some confidence back.
31:18So Marvin Harrison Jr. I think is going to have the best week out of all these receivers.
31:23And then I'm really excited to see Devontae Adams with a good quarterback because I know there's still a lot of juice in that tank,
31:33but there's only a handful of organizations that I feel like he could have went to that actually would have optimized him as a player.
31:42He could have went to the Titans and ended his career.
31:45We would have heard nothing to it.
31:46But being with a great quarterback does a lot for you, especially if you are arguably a Hall of Fame level type of receiver.
31:53What's going on, everybody?
31:54Welcome back to your latest edition of the Better Days lineups.
32:00And we're going to talk about defenses today, ladies and gentlemen, and we're going to go ahead and just start it out right now.
32:07My best place for the week for starting them and sitting them got to start with the Lions.
32:12Lions, I think, are going to be the best defense, at least projection wise, from a fantasy perspective this week.
32:17They play the Bengals.
32:19I hate to laugh like that, but I mean, yeah, they're going to play the Bengals.
32:22They're going to play Jake Browning, who can't even get the ball to Tee Higgins or Jamar Chase.
32:25I don't see that this is going to be a very fun day for him.
32:28I see a couple of interceptions, maybe a couple of fumbles, but a lot of points for the Detroit Lions defense.
32:34So definitely my top pick of the week is the Lions defense.
32:38And coming into number two, I'm going to put the Vikings.
32:43They play the Cleveland Browns, who, which, again, great defense, but their offense, little to be desired.
32:49I mean, there are bright spots.
32:51Quinshawn Junkins has turned into a lead role for that team, and he should not be left off the scouting report by any means.
32:58But still, at the end of the day, the Cleveland Browns are the Cleveland Browns.
33:01And it's Dylan Gabriel's first game as a quarterback.
33:03That's the big part right there.
33:05That's the biggest part of this whole thing right here.
33:08So if he's going to be the – if you're putting him out there against the Vikings defense, it's – I wish you would have prepped that better for the young man.
33:19But, hey, throw him to the wolves, why don't you?
33:21I just don't see that it's going to be a very productive day for the Cleveland Browns and team.
33:30So I'm definitely putting the Vikings at my number two spot in terms of defensive powers for this week.
33:36Lions and Vikings, you can't go wrong.
33:38I think right now for number three, I'm going to put the Cardinals.
33:45Now, I'm going to say this.
33:47The Cardinals defense is sneaky good, like sneaky good, you know.
33:52I know because I've had them on fantasy a couple of times this year.
33:54So, you know, they're not the team that you keep, you know, tucked away in the corners.
33:59You just got to look and see the matchup.
34:00Oh, okay.
34:02They play the Titans.
34:03A few takeaways.
34:04Definitely starting them.
34:05Definitely starting them.
34:06A couple of Cam Ward interceptions.
34:08I mean, and that's no knock against Cam Ward.
34:10I think he has the potential to be a great quarterback in the league.
34:12But even he said it, and I quote, if we're going to keep it a buck, we ask.
34:16We ask.
34:17Yeah.
34:18We be terrible.
34:19So, if my quarterback says that, all right, I'm just going to chug it up to the game.
34:26Cardinals, they see that we're about to have a field day.
34:29I think the defense is going to be more excited to play than the offense on Sunday when the Cardinals play.
34:34So, we're going to see how that fares out.
34:36But they're definitely my number three defense for the week.
34:39And I only have a couple of sits for this week in terms of defenses right now for the Patriots.
34:45I'm going to say, even though they are a good defense and they could definitely win you a week or two, I'm definitely going to sit them this week because they play Josh Allen.
34:55Not the Bills.
34:56They play Josh Allen.
34:57Yeah.
34:59He's going to pick the Patriots apart.
35:01I don't care how good their defense is, even with Christian Gonzalez, who I think is a great defensive individual.
35:06I'm not starting a defense when Josh Allen is the quarterback because they're going to put up points and a lot of them.
35:15So, do not, and I repeat, do not put the Patriots in your starting lineup against Buffalo or you're going to look up and see that they might even have points.
35:26That's happened before where defenses have scored zero.
35:28Yeah.
35:29You will run that risk if you play the Patriots.
35:31And also, my last team that I'm going to sit for the week in terms of defenses is the Cowboys.
35:38The defense is already weak.
35:40Trayvon Diggs looks like he's lost a step.
35:43Their team is battling injuries.
35:45Injuries is part of the game.
35:46We understand this, right?
35:47But at the end of the day, their defense is just not good.
35:51It's not good.
35:52The Packers put a 40 on them.
35:54You know, I cannot trust the Cowboys' defense.
35:57And they play Justin Fields.
36:01All Justin Fields is not, I don't care what you say about it, Justin Fields.
36:04As a fantasy quarterback, he is pretty damn good.
36:08He gave you 30 points against the Dolphins this past week.
36:12And he went off for a 42-yard touchdown.
36:16And that's your quarterback.
36:17And he also threw for over 200 yards.
36:20That's your quarterback.
36:21He's going to have a field day against the Cowboys.
36:23But that rounds out my defense to start and sit for the week for the better days.
36:28Line up.
36:29Tell me how you feel.
36:30Tell me what you see.
36:31Tell me what you think.
36:32Tell me what I need to do to help you become who we all need to be.
36:36Nikolai, this is easily the best list that we've done so far.
36:39And it's because I feel like defenses right now are pretty much no-brainers on who you
36:46should start and who you should sit.
36:47Just in my personal opinion.
36:48You know, other people may say differently.
36:51But there's some obvious injuries.
36:53There's some obvious starting rookie quarterbacks.
36:56If you don't agree with this list, I'm not going to say you're wrong.
37:01You just might be misguided.
37:03Okay?
37:03You might be misguided.
37:04But we really appreciate you stopping by this episode of the podcast.

37:20But we would love to see or read your comments down there.
37:24And we will see you in the next one.
37:26Peace.
37:26Peace.
