00:00My name is Tim Carlisle. I'm a trustee of Two Churches, One Town.
00:05We are in the east end of Beverley-Minster, underneath the choir roof.
00:11We're really delighted to have got through the first stage with a national lottery heritage fund
00:18for a development grant to work up our ideas over the next 12 months
00:24over a major £6.5 million project to renovate the three key routes of this east end of the building
00:32and the Great East Window.
00:35With that will come a programme to improve our environmental footprint
00:40with a garden at the east end of the Minster and to improve the lighting that is in the building
00:47and importantly to widen the engagement of people to attract more people into the Minster
00:54to see what it's all about.
