00:01What's up everybody? My name is Trey. This is Ramsey. Welcome back to Better Days Sports and the new segment that we have coming live to you today.
00:10In Better Days lineups, start them or sit them if you didn't make it to the last segment.
00:17This is a segment of the podcast where Ramsey is going to run over who you should start and who you should sit for your fantasy team.
00:25And this is going to be the running back edition specifically because there's a lot of movement when it comes to who you should start, who you should sit.
00:33But Ramsey, go ahead and take us away, my boy.
00:36What's going on, y'all? So I'm about to just go ahead and dive into it really quick.
00:39And we already know that sometimes running back can make or break our team matchup for the week.
00:45So I think I have a list of people that will not only make your week, but will make your team moving forward.
00:51So let's go ahead and get started to it. Number one we got on the list, we got Chubba Hubbard, a.k.a. Hubba Bubba Max.
00:57Running back for the Carolina Panthers, he plays the Dolphins this week and he had an okay game last week.
01:04The offense really got embarrassed. They only scored three points. I think they lost that game 45-3 if I'm not mistaken.
01:10So he needs a bounce back game. The Dolphins defense is weak. We saw what the Jets did to the Dolphins defense.
01:16I think that goes without saying. So definitely putting Chubba Hubbard in your starting lineup.
01:20And I think that he's definitely going to get a touchdown this week, too.
01:23So definitely want to put him in that flex lineup and let him run.
01:27And my streamer pick for the week. Shout out to the New York Giants.
01:32We got Cam Scadaboo. Listen, Scadaboo! Scadaboo!
01:37Look, I did not see this coming. I can't even believe that I'm telling you this right now.
01:42And he has slowly but surely become the glue guy, the heart of that New York Giants offense.
01:50I mean, for all of the talent that they had and all of the drafted talent that was highly touted that the Giants had made,
02:00Cam Scadaboo looks to be the best one out of the bunch.
02:02And that's saying a lot. Right. And I get it that Jackson Dart only played one game.
02:08I get it. But Cam Scadaboo looks good.
02:11I mean, he looks he looks like he fits the New York mold.
02:14And that is why I have Cam Scadaboo as my streamer pick of the week.
02:18And I think he's going to get another touchdown.
02:19And that'll be game number three in a row that he gets a touchdown.
02:23So we're going to let it ride.
02:24I think he's going to be the back that you need to watch out for if you see him on the lineup.
02:27And if you see him on that waiver wire, you need to get him now, not tomorrow, right now.
02:32Number three on the list, unreliable, Alvin Kamara, running back for the Saints.
02:38They have been going through a little bit of an offensive renaissance in the New Orleans Saints organization.
02:45And I don't mean that in a good way.
02:46I get it that you're running with Spencer Rattler and you're trying to figure the offense out.
02:49And I get you trying to give the young man a chance.
02:51But you have Alvin Kamara in the backfield.
02:54So, run the damn ball.
02:57I mean, I get that you have options and you want to have a multiple back front.
03:01But this is Alvin Kamara we are talking about.
03:05He is what you think about when you think about New Orleans football outside of Drew Brees.
03:10And he has produced with good teams and with bad teams.
03:14At the end of the day, you know that he's going to be there.
03:16You know he's going to give you at least 60 to 100 plus yards, a touchdown, and some flair.
03:21So, you have to start Alvin Kamara this week.
03:24I know he's been off for a couple of weeks, but that's not been his fault.
03:26That's just because the offense has been trying to do too much when they need to trust their gut and run the ball.
03:31That should be the segment for this.
03:33Run the damn ball.
03:34That's what we should name this.
03:36That's how I feel, you know.
03:38Moving on to the next start on the list.
03:42The arrival has finally come for Ashton Ginty.
03:48I mean, goodness gracious.
03:51Before Sunday's game, he was averaging less than five yards a carry.
03:57And they were calling him a bust.
03:59They were saying that he is the next Trent Richardson.
04:02And all it took was one game against the Chicago Bears' quote-unquote strong defensive front.
04:11Quote-unquote.
04:12That man put a hat trick on those Bears.
04:15He had a receiving touchdown and a rushing touchdown.
04:19I don't...
04:21The sky is the limit for Ashton Ginty.
04:24I think that he's going to get one to two touchdowns this week.
04:26And looking at how he is looking for this offense, if he continued...
04:32If he can produce a fraction of what he produced on Sunday, he's going to be a top five back for fantasy moving forward.
04:39And I don't take that lightly.
04:41If you sold low on Ashton Ginty, congratulations.
04:46Because you just got your lead back.
04:48You got your bell cow.
04:49He's here.
04:49He's figured it out.
04:50But the Michael Myers stance is back in the backfield.
04:53And it looks like it's Boise State all over again.
04:55And if anybody has Ashton Ginty, you should love it.
04:59You should love it.
05:02Let's see.
05:03For breakouts.
05:06I'm going to start Trayvon Henderson this week.
05:09And I say that for a couple of reasons.
05:11You know, he looked electrifying in the preseason.
05:16Right?
05:16The team was very high on him on how he performed.
05:18They loved what they saw.
05:19But he was buried in that backfield, Ramond Drake.
05:22Stevenson was still the lead back.
05:24That is who they had paid for them to be the back for, Drake Mayne.
05:30Then fumbles started happening.
05:31Then like a production started happening.
05:33And Trayvon Henderson got 12 touches on Sunday.
05:36And I see that number continuously going up for Trayvon Henderson.
05:39So I think that he's going to definitely be the watch out, breakout candidate coming soon in terms of running backs.
05:46All he just needs is that gradual increase in touches.
05:50Go from 14 touches to 16.
05:52From 16 to 18.
05:54Give him some schemes.
05:55And he's going to put up points.
05:56He's going to give you touchdowns.
05:57Because you already know what he does when he gets in the open field.
06:00He just needs the touches to get there.
06:02So I'm definitely starting Trayvon Henderson.
06:04He should be available in some leagues still.
06:06I'm not too sure yet.
06:07But if you see him on your waiver wire, you should definitely pick him up.
06:10I know that the New England offense gets a lot of hate.
06:14But Drake Mayne looks good.
06:16And it's going to look better when Trayvon Henderson breaks out.
06:20Because he's the back that can catch too.
06:22So you might watch out.
06:23You remember how Alvin Kamara looked really good?
06:26He has that potential.
06:27So definitely, definitely start Trayvon Henderson this week.
06:30And also, streamer shout out to Quinshawn Jenkins, who has turned into the lead role running back for the Cleveland Browns.
06:41Honestly, he has turned into the focal point of the offense currently.
06:44At least that's how it was last weekend against the Detroit Lions.
06:47And I mean, listen, when you can go into Detroit as a rookie, score a touchdown, and go over 80 yards rushing with that defense,
06:58hey, hats to you.
07:00In terms of fantasy, depending on which lead you win, he gave you on an estimate of 17 to 21 points.
07:05And the weekend before that, he gave you 17 to 21 points.
07:08So I have Quinshawn Jenkins becoming the top five, top ten running back in this league.
07:13If they continue to make him the focal point, I don't care if Dylan Gabriel is the starting quarterback now.
07:17It's going to be a situation of run the damn ball.
07:22I feel like a broken record at this point.
07:23Just run the ball.
07:25Anybody on this list so far, give it to them.
07:28You're probably going to have a really good chance of winning on Sunday.
07:32And last but not least, streamer Woody Marks.
07:37As we said earlier, Joe Mixon, we don't know what the hell's going on with him.
07:40We don't know if he just wants his privacy.
07:42We don't know if the injury is more severe than what they're leading it on to be.
07:46And when there's opportunity, Woody Marks said, I'm going to take that and I'm going to run with it.
07:52No pun intended.
07:53And he looks like he's going to be the lead back moving forward for the Houston Texans,
07:58which they need all the help they can get.
08:00CJ Shroud is running for his life.
08:02He doesn't have enough time to throw to Nico Collins or the rest of his receivers.
08:06So he could use a back that could get him some pressure to give him some space,
08:10give him some time to breathe so that this Houston Texans offense can continue to make their run
08:15and be the quote unquote best team in the AFC South, is some claim that they are.
08:20So Woody Marks definitely should be available depending on how deep your league is.
08:25But if you need a running back, because injuries are definitely mounting up,
08:28take a chance on Woody Marks.
08:29So I think that you'll be pleased with your choice there.
08:32And last but not least, we've got to talk about the sits for the week.
08:36I don't like to list a lot of running backs that you should sit.
08:39But the two that I'm going with this week are Chase Brown and Kenneth Walker, a.k.a. K-9.
08:44Running backs for the Bengals and the Seahawks, respectfully.
08:47The Bengals offense just looks bad.
08:50Chase Browning is not getting it done.
08:52He can't even get the ball to T. Higgins and Jamar Chase.
08:55Getting it to Chase Brown is a struggle in itself.
08:57Chase Brown can't produce.
08:58He doesn't look like the back that he was last year.
09:02I don't know if we can attribute that just to how disastrous this offense has been,
09:06or if he's just taking a step back from what we are used to seeing from Chase Brown.
09:10But I would definitely sit Chase Brown now and moving forward,
09:13at least until Joe Burrow comes back and salvages whatever season the Cincinnati Bengals have left.
09:18And for K-9, the only reason I'm sitting him is because they have a dual running back system in Seattle,
09:24and it's pretty damn good.
09:25You have K-9, and then you have Charbonnet as well.
09:28And if you're going to ask me, I think Charbonnet looks like the better back.
09:31I don't know if that's just because it's age, but just in terms of the scheme that they have,
09:36he looks better fit for the mold.
09:39Now, K-9 is still K-9.
09:41We're not taking that away from him.
09:43But all I'm saying is you sit him because his touches are slowly getting taken away from him.
09:46He's not the Bale Cow running back that he was when he first came into the league.
09:50And if we realize how he was when he was in Seattle when Gina was the quarterback,
09:54they started splitting those reps up even when Charbonnet was a rookie.
09:58So now they are similar to the Detroit Lions.
10:02Jameer Gibbs, David Montgomery, Charbonnet, K-9.
10:07It's one of those modes on the offense that works for some teams,
10:09and that's just the mode that the Seahawks are going with moving forward.
10:12So I would definitely proceed with caution.
10:14If you can't sit him, you have to roll the dice and take your chances.
10:17But if you do, I would see if you could go with any of the streamers that I listed above.
10:21But that is my RBs for the week, the better days, RB lineups for the week.
10:27How do you feel about the picks that I've given to the public community?
10:32What do you think so far?
10:32You think I'm leading them astray?
10:33You think I gave them a good blueprint?
10:36No, you know, on this one specifically, I think you know what you're talking about.
10:40I think you know what you're talking about.
10:41And I just want to put out there, I want to go ahead and just claim as the Scadaboo guy now.
10:48Scadaboo has the run style that I love to see in a running back.
10:52It's not necessarily conducive to having a long career in the NFL.
10:58When you run aggressive, when you seek out contact, it most times takes a beating on your body.
11:04But I absolutely love the way that he runs the ball.
11:07And it just gives that Giants team just a different type of aura about him.
11:11So Scadaboo and Gentry was really excited to see his breakout game.
11:15I guess as soon as he changed his stance of I'm not standing straight up, I bent my legs, you know, two degrees.
11:23That somehow makes him not be able to run the ball.
11:25I'm not exactly sure.
11:27But I am excited to see them kind of lean on him a little bit more as we've seen Gino's not afraid to throw it to the other team.
11:33So maybe if they can lead on Gentry, stop some of the turnovers, really excited to see that.
11:38But overall, I think it's a good list.
11:40And we would love to see how you feel about this list in the comment section down below because I'm sure you might have a different opinion.
11:47Now, if you are somebody that's new to the channel, make sure you hit the subscribe button and notification bell to get notified every time we post a video.
