Murray Grey supreme champion at the Melbourne Royal Show

Samantha Betts and her daughter Ella from Floodway Pass Murray Greys, Rochester, won supreme champion for the breed with their cow, Peggy Bug.

00:00Hi, I'm Sam. I'm from Floodway Pass, Murray Grays. We are based up near Echuca.

00:05This is Peggy Bug, and she has today won Supreme Exhibit for the Murray Grays.

00:12The judge commented on her femininity and her udder, her soundness for a seven-year-old cow,

00:18and he has put her into Supreme Exhibit, so she's done really well today.

00:23Very proud of her. Her little carpet foot is following very closely in mum's footsteps,

00:28and we're really excited to be stashed today as the Supreme Exhibit for the Murray Grays.

00:35Hi, I'm Ella. I'm 10 years old, and today we won the Grand Champion Cow and Cups for the Murray Grays.

00:45So we got two first ribbons, and then we started getting ribbons that were,

00:56we started saying Grand Champion, and let's say we got two Grand Champion ribbons,

01:03and then I was so excited. My feelings, I was just speechless. I was so, I was so happy with that.
