00:00Newcastle United head coach Eddie Howe has said that he is expecting a tough
00:04test when the magpies come up against Belgian side Union Saint-Gilois but
00:09that Newcastle are now used to the build-up to Champions League fixtures.
00:12They've started the season very very strongly and great result in the
00:16Champions League as you say against PSV. They're tactically interesting, they'll
00:24give us a physical threat as well. They've got two big strikers. Yeah, I've been
00:30very impressed by watching them play. We know it'll be a really important game in
00:34our Champions League journey but it's been going to be a tough one. Well we
00:38certainly feel in our first game if you're looking back at the Barcelona game
00:43we felt we gave a really good performance but ended up with with nothing and you
00:47know disappointing result and the similarities between that and that sort
00:52the Premier League start for us where we felt been really competitive and have
00:56left certain games with less than I feel we've deserved so I feel we're
01:00competitive. We're enjoying I think the build-up now we're used to it from two
01:06years ago there's nothing that really is gonna hopefully surprise us in that sense
01:09and I think that can only help us then hopefully perform at a better level. And in
01:13the Championship Middlesbrough were held to a goalless draw at the Riverside
01:17Stadium by Stoke City in what Rob Edwards described as a classic game
01:22of two halves. Really good performance in the first half, everything but the the end
01:30product bit and I feel we had a really good penalty shout turned down, looked at
01:35it back, I let other people make their minds up and I won't get myself in
01:38trouble because I want to make sure I'm on a touchline in the next game. And then
01:44clearly then we weren't our best in the second half and probably lacked a little
01:47bit of energy, we gave the ball away too often and then it was a case of all right we
01:51need to make some adjustments here to make sure that we don't lose the game and
01:55yeah in the end we take the point we move forward. You mentioned in the press
02:01conference yesterday that there will be times this season in times and games
02:03where things wouldn't all be going your way. Was the second half an example of
02:06that and an example of how you sort of have to get through that? Yeah yeah but look we're
02:10human beings and no one's perfect as a team we want to try to be.
