The Cincinnati Bengals Week 4 Loss to the Denver Broncos on Monday Night Football Was FAR Worse Than Their Loss to the Vikings in Week 3.
Transcript
00:00To me, the Denver loss is so much worse than the Minnesota loss, for sure.
00:04In Minnesota, it's like, oh, well, 38 points, worst loss in franchise history.
00:10I'm like, yeah, well, they were really loose with the football, and that's why.
00:14I can explain that.
00:16You know how I explain Denver?
00:19They got their butts kicked.
00:20They were the worst team in every facet.
00:24They could not utilize their top weapons.
00:27They could not move the ball consistently.
00:30They were sheepish early in the game when they did have a little momentum, and that's
00:34exactly what it is.
00:35If it's fourth and two on the eight, there's never a scenario where Evan McPherson should
00:39kick a 26-yard field goal unless there's one second left on the clock.
00:43If there's one second left on the clock or it's a game-winning situation or overtime or
00:47something like that, fine.
00:49But that wasn't that.
00:51That was a, oh, well, the fade to T. Higgins, which was completely uncatchable from Jake
00:56Browning, well, we're going to kick it here.
00:59And I just, I hate it.
01:00I hate that mindset coming out of that Minnesota game.
01:04Obviously, that's not the reason they lost.
01:05There's a bunch of reasons they lost.
01:07But when I look at this team and I say, all right, how do they rally?
01:12How do they respond after Minnesota?
01:14And I know the veterans in that locker room stepped up, and they were accountable for
01:18what they did and didn't do in Minnesota.
01:22I was expecting them to play better.
01:25And so when that doesn't happen, you have to diagnose the problem.
01:29Which makes them all the regulations?
01:43They're saying, oh, well, this is what they're here.
