00:00Hello Park Managers, and welcome to this exclusive first look at one of the new features coming
00:05to Jurassic World Evolution 3, the Cretaceous Cruise.
00:10I'm Sandy, a principal designer on the game, and in this demo, I'm going to show you how
00:14to build this attraction through several enclosures, including the T-Rex.
00:19Hopefully everything goes to plan.
00:22Let's dive right in.
00:23I'm going to be building in our lovely Hawaii map.
00:26You can see we already have a lot going on here, with a mix of enclosures.
00:30We've got some lagoons, aviaries, and land enclosures, but also a number of new attractions.
00:37Floating in the background, you may have noticed a hot air balloon.
00:40And over here, we have our new dinosaur encounter, where guests can pet your dinosaurs.
00:46These attractions are great, but what if you want something to go through an enclosure?
00:50Veterans of the game will be familiar with our gyrospheres, which will be making a return.
00:55However, the Cretaceous Cruise lets your guests view dinosaur families whilst cruising along
00:59rivers and water bodies, opening up all sorts of interesting ways to construct your enclosures
01:04with this attraction in mind.
01:07Like all our attractions, I'm going to need an entrance.
01:10We have our building already placed down.
01:12Jurassic World Evolution 3 now features modular building, meaning you can customise buildings
01:16like this to your heart's content.
01:18We have three enclosures we want this ride to pass through, so I guess get to see a wide variety
01:22of dinosaurs, including that T-Rex we mentioned.
01:25I've placed a couple of security cameras around.
01:28We should be safe if things get a little chaotic.
01:32Let's start adding a track.
01:33It's incredibly easy.
01:35Clicking here, I can simply lay down the route I want, adjusting the path to be curved or straight
01:40as needed.
01:41And while this is a great starting point, our new scenery pieces mean we can make these spaces
01:46even more interesting.
01:47Let's make the ride feel more dynamic by adding a rock arch.
01:51If we go into the scenery panel, we have a wide variety of rocks to choose from.
01:56Very easily we're able to create something unique for our ride.
01:59And then I think we want another type of structure over the path.
02:02Over here, we have a structure we've turned into a blueprint.
02:09There we go.
02:09That looks great.
02:11Now we've reached the end of the enclosure, we need some more water in order to continue
02:14the ride.
02:15Let's place that down and add a track through this fence.
02:26In this new enclosure, you can see that we have these elevated areas of terrain that can
02:29act as natural barriers to keep dinosaurs separated.
02:33You no longer need to rely purely on fences to house your dinosaurs.
02:37I'm also moving into deep water now.
02:39Deep water is a new feature and a need for some of our dinosaurs.
02:43Certain species will be able to navigate through the water or swim.
02:46We can see in this enclosure we have some brachiosaurs.
02:49They're able to wade through deep water.
02:52On the banks of the river, you can also see foliage we've laid down to create a canopy
02:56around this area.
02:58Let's use one of the compound brushes to finish off a section over here.
03:01The scenery brushes make detailing your spaces super simple.
03:05We now have our ride complete.
03:07Let's open it and head down to guest level.
03:10There's multiple perspectives you can choose from when interacting with the kayak.
03:13You can observe from third person, first person or even take control of the ride.
03:19In this perspective, you will take control, allowing you to move the kayak freely both along
03:23the track ride or outside it.
03:26From this vantage point, you can get up close to the dinosaurs.
03:28Let's take a look at our Parasaurolophus.
03:32In this enclosure, we have a number of males and females, each with their own unique colour
03:36and pattern, making the dimorphism quite apparent.
03:39Dinosaur traits will be able to pass down from generation to generation, with certain
03:43features being worth more to your overall park rating.
03:46Over here, we can see the juveniles as they play in their enclosure.
03:49They'll interact with each other as well as adults, so keep an eye out.
03:54As we head into the next enclosure, let's hop over to one of the guest kayaks and check
03:57out what they're able to see.
04:01Passing through the canopy, it's a great chance to call out just how good the new lighting
04:05and water in the game looks.
04:07It adds so much to the effect of this attraction.
04:09And finally, we make our way into the T-Rex enclosure.
04:13These guys can get a bit restless with boats travelling through, so you'll want to keep
04:16an eye, or preferably a security camera, on these sorts of enclosures.
04:21That about brings us to the end of our demo, and hopefully you can see just how creative
04:25and dynamic this new ride will be.
04:26There's so many ways to integrate it into your parks.
04:29I'm very excited to see what players will do with it when the game launches on October
04:3321st.
04:39We have detected a loss of power across the park.
04:42Please bear with us as we deal with the issue.
04:47Ladies and gentlemen, as a precautionary measure, and for your safety, please proceed to your
04:53nearest shelter.
05:11And one of the things that's applied to my TV視 who did find out
05:14because of the weather إلى some weather, the weather has not, has been having煮 bars this
05:17day, but it has been dengan J 그래서 Zych ela.
05:18And one of the things that we can do, I can use it as a lighthouse chairman for the
05:22nutzen.
05:23And part of that is how it truly looks like all works as well.
05:26We not user limitations when air is taking control from the sitting room closed and
05:28to remove everything.
05:30Okay, well, that's okay.
05:31So seat, it looks good the temperature, it looks like what's happening with thisанс, but the
