00:00I don't know who needs to hear this, but I've been feeling it on my heart for a while, so story time.
00:05For a long time, about two or three years, I started feeling as though my home, so my safe space, my nest, has started to become my prison.
00:16That is to say, I started feeling suffocated. I started feeling like I was in a box. I stopped taking risks.
00:23I stopped going out and putting myself out there, all while really my spirit was telling me, Alexa, you need to go out.
00:33You need to do this. You need to do that. You have so much energy in your heart, but you're putting water on it.
00:38Why are you putting water on the flames? I'm lighting for you. And really, the answer was fear. It was fear.
00:44I know what it means to not have a nest, to not have a safe space. So why would I actively choose to get rid of mine?
00:53But after a while, enough was enough. I had to go.
00:58Now, around the time that these feelings were really reaching a certain precipice, I was randomly invited by LinkedIn DM.
01:06I'm a Sagittarius. I go on side quests all the time. All of his tracks.
01:10But anyway, I was randomly invited to a luxury business retreat in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.
01:17It was amazing. It was absolutely incredible. Filled by people who are doing incredible things with their businesses, call themselves visionaries, the whole nine yards.
01:27Throughout the week, we did all kinds of workshops and sessions and whatnot.
01:31And one of those sessions was called, What is Your Ninja Move?
01:34Now, essentially, a ninja move is what is the one thing that you can do right now to propel you that much closer to your goals?
01:41Now, of course, like everyone else there, I had business ideas, but I just wasn't in a place in my life at that point to really meaningfully pursue them.
01:49So instead, I went inward and I consulted that feeling of needing to get out there.
01:53And I said to myself, if I were to take one act to propel myself that much closer to what this feeling is telling me I need, I've got to get out of my house.
02:04I have to get out of my comfort zone.
02:06So that's what I did.
02:07I went straight to chat GPT, had it write out a subletters request, posted it on different Facebook sites, got a subletter.
02:13Within a week, I was abroad.
02:16Traveling throughout Europe for about three and a half months, and it was really incredible.
02:20Not to say it didn't have its challenges, but that's story time for another time.
02:26But really, I say all this to say, what's your ninja move?
02:29What's the one thing your spirit, your gut is telling you you need to do and that you've been pushing against because of fear, because it doesn't make sense, because you can't put it on your resume or whatever excuses you're giving yourself?

02:52I did it, even though I was terrified, but it really paid off.
