The prime minister has invited a major middle eastern supermarket chain to enter the Australian market during a visit to the United Arab Emirates.

00:28Now, wage costs might be a factor there, but the Prime Minister also reckons competition is key.
00:35And he invited the boss of Lulu to set up shop in Australia to break the stranglehold of Coles and Woolworths.
00:42Ahead of a meeting with the President of the UAE, the Prime Minister visited the enormous and iconic Sheikh Zayed Mosque, one of the biggest in the Middle East.
00:51The UAE is amongst those Arab states that is trying to drive a peace plan for Gaza that involves removing Hamas from power.
01:01It's been a long trip for Anthony Albanese from the United Nations in New York to Downing Street, Balmoral Castle and now here in Abu Dhabi.
