00:35So that's a good start for Simon Pace.
00:37That was back on row number five, sorry, row number three for him.

00:42He turns that into a third place running in the opening going here.

00:46And he's had some contact by the looks of that.

00:52So going to become very much a foreign object on the circuit.

01:18That'll be safety car, no doubt about that.
01:20That'll be red flag, I would think, more than a safety car.
01:23Oh, and Matt Bode from the Queenslander by way of Victoria with the Sabre 02.
01:28He's come to a stop on the side of the circuit.
01:30Can't quite see where that is.
01:31But they've been dropping like flies already in the opening half of a lap.
01:35And he's looking at the back of that car thinking that maybe something might have let go.
01:39So Matt Bode's at turn one.
01:40Then you've got, I think it was the number 26 is down at turn six.
01:44And then Rhys Rowland looks like he was on the exit of three.
01:47So stranded cars in a couple of precarious spots and one on its roof.
01:52Looks like the driver there, Alex Beswick, is out of the 26.
01:57So that's a positive sign.
01:59He's no doubt going to be a little bit shaken.
02:02In fact, look at the rear end of that O1.
02:03That is destroyed.
02:05That's torn it right off.
02:07That's a serious wreck race car right there.
02:10Yeah, the bolts on both sides of the rear axle have let go of the rear tyres there too.
02:15that this despondent Matt Bode, he's just going there to turn the GoPro off on the top of the roll hoop there.
02:22So a little bit of action there.
02:23Two things unsighted.
02:25One of which would have been a very frightening affair both for Alex Beswick and probably for Ben Forgan as well.
02:31He definitely would not have expected to have been hit by a car that looked like it had a bit of a major lockup going down there into turn number six.
02:40There's one of the stranded tyres.
02:43Have a look at that.
02:44You can actually see that the wheel rim has actually shattered as part of the impact.
02:48You can see all the little bits and bumps of that rim just hanging out there.
02:52They're right at the 26.
02:54And officials very quickly on the scene.

03:13So the first one dislodged.
03:14The second one just sort of became disconnected from the car as it came to a rest there.
03:19It's a bit hard to tell from that angle as well exactly what happened.
03:22So in the braking zone for turn six, you can't actually see where Ben sort of was on the road versus, you know, is he turning for the corner versus then Alex then trying to come out and potentially make a pass.
03:33Maybe was a little bit caught out by the braking behind Ben Forgan and then maybe had a late decision to get out.
03:40But that'll be something that we have a bit of a look at a bit later on in the piece.
03:44We have unfortunately gone red flag scenario here in the third heat race for Formula V.
03:50There is Ben Forgan, I think, just there going along in our shot.
