‘It’s just cheaper’: would you consider a winter holiday?

With rising costs around holidays, more people are opting for winter holidays to save a few quid and to get away from the colder weather. Would you do a winter holiday instead this year?

00:05We're looking to go to Thailand now next month, so that'd be nice.

00:15We go away quite a lot.

00:18Angela was a teacher, so we were tied to school holidays, and they're always more expensive then, or cheaper.

00:24It's whichever you're looking at, they're more expensive then, or they're cheaper, which amounts to the same.

00:28So it's nice to have the freedom to go.

00:32That's what we do when we go to a holiday.

00:33We'll go to a holiday at a cheaper season because you can't really afford a summer holiday nowadays.

00:38They rack up the price for two, three grand more, where if you go into the winter in a warm country, it's still warm.

00:43It might not be as warm, but it's still warm.

00:46It's still like 20, 25 degrees, and it's like two grand cheaper, so it works out.

00:50You get the same experience for a different time of year.

00:53I mean, yeah, I agree.

00:54I mean, it's just whatever people can afford nowadays because obviously things are a lot cheaper in other turn times.
