00:00Kim Jong-un is the sun around which all else revolves.
00:05Welcome to WatchMojo, and today we'll be looking at the most evil humans alive at the time of writing.
00:10On the Russian side, there is very little pressure on Putin to make a deal,
00:14especially because all opposition to him has been wiped out.
00:19Ali Khamenei
00:20In 1979, the Iranian revolution turned Iran into a theocracy.
00:25Since then, they've had two supreme leaders.
00:26He controls media, he controls judiciary, he controls police, and he has his own economic empire.
00:36The second, Ali Khamenei, has held the position since 1989.
00:40He's an extremely controversial leader who is responsible for the deaths of thousands.
00:44Khamenei rules with an iron fist, using overwhelming force to suppress any opponent.
00:48Since 2009, he was more comfortable in suppressing the democratic movement in Iran.
00:55He's a major enemy of feminism, believing it to be a Zionist plot to corrupt the role of women in society.
01:01Any part of the LGBTQIA plus grinds his gears, and there's not really anything nice to be said about him.
01:06The legacy of Ayatollah Khamenei would be creating a protection for the survival of the regime.
01:15El Chapo and Nemesillo
01:16Cartels are some of the most unethical organizations in human history.
01:19Currently, the Jalisco New Generation Cartel is one of the most infamous.
01:24A little-known Mexican drug lord named El Mencho was to be considered the city's most wanted fugitive and public enemy number one.
01:32They're based in Jalisco, western Mexico.
01:34They've been led by two despicable men, Nemesio Oseguera Cervantes and Joaquin El Chapo Guzman.
01:40The latter was captured on three separate occasions and was finally convicted in 2019.
01:44The most powerful drug lord ever to live, reduced to tears in the hands of U.S. federal agents.
01:51Now, Joaquin El Chapo Guzman Loera facing life behind bars after a months-long trial found him guilty.
01:59Estimates claim he has over 34,000 deaths on his hands.
02:02Now they're run by Nemesio, who is just as despicable a person.
02:06He's currently Mexico's number one most wanted criminal, and there are huge rewards available for helping capture him.
02:11The $10 million reward for El Mencho's arrest has just been increased to $15 million.
02:17Josef Fritzl
02:18Unlike other entries on our list, most of Fritzl's evil deeds were targeted at one person, his daughter.
02:24What Elizabeth Fritzl revealed was that her father, Josef, had kept her locked in a cellar for 24 years.
02:31For 24 years, his daughter, Elizabeth, had been held captive by her own father in Austria.
02:35The abuse she suffered is beyond stomach-turning.
02:37It resulted in Fritzl and his daughter having several children in total.
02:42Fritzl managed to convince authorities that they were foundlings, allowing him to go unnoticed for years.
02:47He was a cunning, meticulous man who planned his crime years in advance.
02:52One child died.
02:53Three were raised by Fritzl, and the others were left in captivity.
02:56It was all revealed in 2008 after Elizabeth's daughter was taken to a hospital for medical attention.
03:00Staff found the situation suspicious and reported it to the police.
03:04Now he'll spend the rest of his life behind bars, as deserved.
03:07And in 2009, he's going to be given a whole life tarot, he's going to be given a life sentence, but eligible for parole after 15 years.
03:17Which is something to talk about there, because that, I would like to think that wouldn't happen here.
03:21Warren Jeffs.
03:23Cults are one of the most nefarious organizations a person can get involved in.
03:26Warren Jeffs is the prophet and leader of the FLDS.
03:29They often prey on vulnerable people, then make it so they can't leave via methods such as blackmail.
03:33One of the largest cults was the Fundamental Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
03:38They're a polygamist cult with a tendency to severely abuse minors.
03:41One estimate claims ex-leader Warren Jeffs has over 79 wives.
03:45In this community where a man needs three wives to gain salvation, Warren Jeffs married over 80 women.
03:52It's unlikely they were all acquired via ethical means.
03:55The church has had thousands of members who all reside in an isolated location.
03:58Despite Jeffs' conviction, the church still exists and upholds his abhorrent practices.
04:03From prison, he continues to control the church.
04:06Under Warren Jeffs' leadership, rules became stricter, and many left the faith, whether by choice or excommunication.
04:12Rodrigo Duterte.
04:14Between 2016 and 2022, Duterte was president of the Philippines.
04:18Nicknamed the Punisher.
04:20Rodrigo Duterte is a Harley-riding, former city mayor who speaks his mind.
04:25Pretty much as soon as he got the job, he initiated a horrifically inhumane war on drugs.
04:30Rather than rehabilitating offenders, he encouraged people to murder them without a fair trial.
04:34To remind you, thousands of small-time drug dealers, users, others as well, were killed without trial while he was in office.
04:42It's unclear how many lost their lives as it was too chaotic to truly tell.
04:45Officially, there were just over 6,000.
04:47Overestimates claim it could be double that, or even up to 30,000.
04:50Even children lost their lives in the fighting, which the government simply dismissed as collateral damage.
04:55Duterte even once compared himself to Hitler, proving just how warped his worldview is.
04:59There is nothing wrong in trying to preserve the interest of the next generation.
05:07Peter Scully.
05:08The dark web can be an abominable place.
05:10This is due to people like Peter Scully who use it to earn money for the most wretched schemes imaginable.
05:14The perpetrator of these horrendous acts is the most depraved individual I've ever come across.
05:23The Australian's first controversy was running a real estate fraud scheme, but he earned a spot on our list for selling the most despicable videos of children on the dark web.
05:31You know, this was a wealthy white man preying on very underprivileged people, very poor people.
05:37For his crimes, he faced 75 charges, and they even considered reintroducing the death penalty in the Philippines solely for Scully.
05:44Now he's rotting in jail, but he and his sister claim his conditions are terrible.
05:48It's hard to feel sorry for the guy, though, after the extreme suffering he's caused.
05:52I think we are finished.
05:53I think we are.
05:54All right, okay.
05:55Benjamin Netanyahu.
05:57Our next entry is one of the most powerful work criminals alive right now.
06:00He's Israel's longest serving prime minister, who is currently committing genocide in Palestine.
06:05Before dinner, the leaders appeared to be upbeat about achieving a ceasefire in Gaza
06:09and securing the release of those still being held captive there.
06:13But they also implied they see the possible relocation of Palestinians to other countries as part of this process.
06:21While Netanyahu will deny it, numerous experts and studies confirm that's what's happening.
06:25This has made him a war criminal in the eyes of the ICC, which has issued an arrest warrant for him.
06:30The International Criminal Court's decision to issue arrest warrants for war crimes against Israeli leader Benjamin Netanyahu
06:37and former Defense Minister Yav Galant has triggered a furious response across the political spectrum here
06:44with the prime minister calling them anti-Semitic.
06:47Alongside him are other criminals such as Bezalel Smotrich,
06:51who illegally lives in the West Bank and frequently makes highly offensive remarks.
06:55Other controversies of Netanyahu's regime include a 12-day war with Iran and an invasion of Syria.
07:00It took only days for Netanyahu to seize the vacuum after the fall of the regime of Syria's Bashar al-Assad.
07:05He used that opportunity to attack Syria.
07:08Joseph Kony.
07:09Uganda may never forget the actions of the brutal warlord Kony, leader of the Lord's Resistance Army.
07:14He preaches that he's on a mission from the Holy Spirit to overthrow the Ugandan government
07:19and set up a messianic Christian state with him as leader.
07:23While his influence has diminished severely over the years, he still hasn't faced justice for his crimes.
07:27He's arguably Africa's most infamous warlord, who despicably uses child soldiers to fight his battles.
07:33At least 66,000 children became victims of his outrageous organization.
07:38He eventually became famous in 2012 after a group called Invisible Children tried to get him arrested.
07:43It simplifies a war that is so complex and gives this picture that, you know,
07:48only a certain person, if a college student in America gives them money, they will stop Kony.
07:54So I'm wondering, where is the link between them getting money and stopping Joseph Kony?
08:00This failed and became known as a form of slacktivism.
08:03Now he has roughly 100 soldiers under his command and is supposedly hiding in Darfur, Sudan.
08:08For many victims' families feel he is still a threat.
08:11The government should have to look for coins so that coins should not come back again.
08:15If the government is not looking after coins, coins may even come back.
08:19Vladimir Putin.
08:21Despite the fall of the Soviet Union, Russia is still ruled by a dictator in all but name.
08:25A man who will go on to transform the course of the 21st century.
08:29Putin has been pulling strings in the nation for over two decades.
08:32He rose to prominence as a KGB agent in the USSR, then moved into politics after its dissolution.
08:38Now he rules with an iron fist utilizing extreme propaganda to get what he wants.
08:42This includes Ukraine, which he's been trying to invade since 2022.
08:45It was a day of infamy for the Russian government and terror for millions of Ukrainians.
08:52Vladimir Putin wrote himself into the history books in all the wrong ways as he invaded a democratic,
08:59sovereign neighbor in a war of imperial conquest with chilling echoes of the 1930s.
09:06This has, of course, sparked international outrage and cause for Putin's arrest.
09:10Peace is something Putin won't accept unless he gets an overwhelming amount of land from Ukraine.
09:14Furthering global hatred for his authoritarian ways.
09:16A quarter century in the Kremlin has changed Putin.
09:20But, as he himself said in this interview back in 2015,
09:24he has always been shaped by, and perhaps defined by, his extraordinary past.
09:30Before we unveil our top pick, here are a few dishonorable mentions.
09:34Bashar al-Assad.
09:35The only good thing about this dictator is that he's finally been ousted.
09:38Bashar al-Assad appears to have carefully planned his subterfuge.
09:42Kamal Sarkar was told to organize a camera crew to film a speech that the former dictator never intended on delivering.
09:51Richard Sackler.
09:52This pharmaceutical salesman is central to instigating America's opioid crisis.
09:56One lawsuit already settled for $24 million is now yielding new information to the public about the involvement of Richard Sackler.
10:03David Miscavige.
10:04Scientology's current leader has done immense damage to countless people.
10:08Whatever you have heard, if you haven't heard it from us, I can assure you, we are not what you expect.

10:30Kim Jong-un.
10:33A strong case can be made for North Korea being the world's worst country in which to be born.
10:38It's been ruled by Supreme Leader Kim Jong-un since 2011.
10:41At the young age of 28, Kim Jong-un became the next leader of North Korea after his father died.
10:49Kim's a disgusting person, to put it mildly.
10:51To maintain power, he holds public executions, maintains labor camps, and frequently starves his population.
10:57It's virtually impossible to leave North Korea, and if you try, there's a high chance you won't survive the attempt.
11:02Nothing that's coming out of North Korea is sort of haphazard.
11:06They have thought this through.
11:07Kim's regime is so brutal, they've executed teenagers for watching South Korean dramas.
11:12He's even been sending Korean soldiers to Ukraine to help fight Putin's outrageous war of aggression.
11:17He's leader of a pariah state that we know.
11:19He wants nuclear weapons, and we know that he sent 15,000 troops to help Putin invade Ukraine.
11:24Are there any particularly nefarious humans we failed to mention?
11:27Let us know in the comments below.
11:29Inside the church, information is kept limited.
11:32They're taught not to trust the government or believe the news.
11:35So the faithful are in fierce denial about Warren Jeffs.
