00:31The temple sits on Pahonyotin Road near the Ghost Constitution Defense Monument which commemorated Bawaradet Rebellion.
00:38It was meant to symbolize the country's shift to constitutional rule and the ideals of democracy.
00:45Designed as a model temple, it combined the two main Buddhist orders, the Mahanikai and Phamayut,
00:51and set a standard for Thai architecture.
