00:00Thailand has had over 30 Prime Minister since its Democratic reform in 1932.

00:05But in this lineup, one of these leaders held office for almost 15 years.

00:10Thailand's third Prime Minister Phil Marshall Black, Phrimbun Songkram,

00:13while he's known as John Phan Paul, held the record for the longest serving leader.

00:18He was a Prime Minister for a total of 14 years and 11 months.

00:21During his first term in office in 1938, Black launched many cultural landmarks

00:31His first term ended in disgrace in 1944 due to his effort to fought causal ties with Japan

00:37during World War II, which gutted his popularity.

00:41Black managed to return to office in 1948 in the aftermath of a coup and be in power for a lovely 9 years.

00:52His term ended in 1957 after an election was dubbed as one of the dirtiest elections.
