00:00Baan Biso Lok is designated as the official residence for Thailand's Prime Minister

00:05but very few have lived there, with some saying this is because the ghost stories surrounding this place.

00:12Baan Biso Lok was originally built during the King Rama VI era for a high-ranking soldier

00:18before being repurposed in 1979 as the official residence for the Thai leaders.

00:23Since then, only two Prime Ministers have ever dared to live in this haunted house.

00:28Some attribute this to ghost stories such as swaying noises at night or sightings of a spiritual

00:34maiden in ancient Thai clothes. One incident in 2001 involved a female cleaner who was believed

00:40to be possessed by a spirit. She reportedly dropped to her hands and knees, scrubbing the floor

00:46fearlessly while mumbling in an unintelligible language. Some believe these are just made-up tales

00:53but so far no other Thai leaders have dared to live at Baan Biso Lok.
