00:10The keynote speaker, Minister of Foreign Affairs Bruno Rodriguez, explained the economic
00:15and energy challenges Cuba faces due to the economic and financial blockade imposed by
00:20the United States government over six decades ago.
00:23He also highlighted Cuba's achievements in medicine, including biotechnology and pharmacy,
00:29as well as its implementation of renewable energy sources to mitigate the country's
00:33energy problems.
00:34The event concluded with a just tribute to the late African-American human rights activist
00:39Asata Shakur.
