Watch the moment heroic police dog saves handler from shovel-wielding attacker

PC Tom Marsden and PD Yoiko had attended a scene in Hull, in July last year, when they were attacked.
The man had set alight to items in a flat in attempt to evade arrest was being aggressive towards officers.
The yob swung at Marsden with a shovel which he blocked and was pulled to the ground but Yoiko was able to stop any further attack on his handler.
For there bravery the duo from Humberside Police's Dog Section were awarded the Outstanding Bravery Award at the Thin Blue Paw Award Ceremony in London.
