National champions Deefnec Force could not defend a 1-0 lead against Barbados club Wales FC in their penultimate Group B match of the Concacaf Caribbean Cup last evening.

Joshua Araujo-Wilson's first goal was cancelled out by a late second half equaliser from Ackeel Applewhaite to force a 1-1 draw.

The draw leaving the Army men needing a victory on the final round next week against Group winners Cibao FC, as they are seek a top-two finish ahead of defending champions Cavalier FC and Wales.
