00:07my gosh so many things living my life we're back for season two we're actually almost done shooting

00:12season two which is exciting have you picked up any new skills or hobbies oh you know what i love

00:18painting i'm terrible at it but i really love doing it i'd like to get better at it but i think that's

00:22really the newest thing that i've been doing if you could live anywhere in the world where would

00:26it be i mean listen we're on the west coast i live here not in gibson's but look at this place it's

00:31so beautiful i don't know if i would uh change where i live necessarily the west coast is so gorgeous

00:37if you had a time machine would you go to the past or future that one's hard because the past i don't

00:43know that things were great for women in the past and i have no idea where the future is taking us

00:47right now but maybe maybe deep past you know maybe in north america on the pacific northwest before

00:55colonization would be amazing if you could have dinner with a historical figure who would it be

01:00one of the bronte sisters i'd love to chat with them what's the best trip you've ever been on you

01:06know what i did a trip to syria in 2008 that was incredible it was before the war started and i'm

01:11so grateful that i got to go it was just amazing what drew you to your role in murder in a small town

01:17i like how like she's very strong but she's also kind of weird and quirky and warm and a lot of the

01:23characters i've played have been so tough so it's nice to play someone that's quite soft if you had

01:27to solve a real life crime which of your past characters would you want as your partner that

01:32one's easy it would be cat chandler from beauty and the beast because she's a detective and would

01:37be able to solve things what's the most rewarding part of working on this show uh the people i love

01:42being around the people how do you get into the mindset of your character for a crime drama well for

01:47me because i'm not generally involved in the crimes it's pretty easy you know i get to come in and just

01:52be a librarian and be on town council and it feels very grounded if you could reboot any show or movie

01:58what would you want to star in i say this a lot and i can't do it because i'm old and i'm not a

02:02redhead but and of green gables what was the most intense scene you've had to film on this show there's

02:07some big fight scenes that i have not like physical fights but emotional fights with ross that can get a

02:12little bit challenging yeah what has been your favorite bts moment while filming or something that's made

02:18you laugh while on set uh i don't know i was here once and someone throws food from this house over

02:23here and like all the birds show up and that always makes me laugh can you describe season two of the

02:28show in one sentence without any spoilers but enough to tease fans this is a season that is about

02:34obviously crime but also the machinations of the town and the complications of relationship when you

02:40get into territory where you're both kind of battling for the things that you want thank you so much
