00:00Carlos Vives, it's a very special night for you in Premio Juventus, tell us.

00:04Yes, it's very special because being in Panamá is always special.

00:09And it's a special night because, well, we recognize the work with our foundation,

00:15the work, that is what I tell you about,

00:19to discover really why God gave us the gift to sing, the love of you.

00:27At the end, one understands, as an artist, when the years come, that it is to serve.

00:34And I work in a place that I met since a child,

00:39and at the beginning I didn't really understand its importance.

00:44And today, I am a grateful artist.

00:49I work in the territory that I gave me the music, that I gave me the best of my culture,

00:53that I gave me the best of my city, and that we became a land of the olvides.

00:58So, to understand that, at the end, we sing for that.

01:05I think it's also an opportunity to bring that message to youth.

01:09Because all those things, I identify myself.

01:12I identify myself because I also had 20 years and a heart.

01:18And you think that you have been your first time?

01:20Of course, of course.

01:22No, no, no me lo creía nada.

01:23Es que a mí todo lo que me ha pasado no me lo he creído nada.

01:26Porque nada, nunca esperé que me pasaran cosas como las que me han pasado,

01:30pero solo tengo agradecimiento.

01:33Entonces, parte de ese agradecimiento es compartirlo con los jóvenes.

01:36Yo creo que ellos también pueden evitarse bobadas,

01:40que ya los viejos pasamos por ahí, y ser agradecidos con el cariño de la gente.

01:48Y ese cariño de la gente es el que va a multiplicar que ellos sean factores de cambio.

01:54Sí, agentes de cambio, que ellos sean agentes de cambio.

01:57Porque al final todos podemos, con lo que hacemos, aportar a tener una mejor sociedad,

02:04a tener un mejor mundo para las nuevas generaciones, un mejor planeta.

02:10Así que, pero no, no, no, yo vine con mi carreta para acá,

02:14porque sí, es una gran oportunidad y no la voy a desperdiciar, la voy a agradecer.

02:18Estoy muy feliz de estar en Panamá, porque Panamá es cuna de muchos músicos importantes,

02:25de artistas importantes, de géneros importantes de nuestra industria.

02:29Y, nada, es una gran oportunidad. Gracias y los quiero.
