00:00In this video, I will guide you to quick way to insert a vertical line in MS Word document.

00:07So how you can do that? For example, you want to insert a vertical line for this paragraph.

00:15You need to select the paragraph and go to the home tab.

00:22Under the paragraph group, you need to click on the borders drop down menu

00:28and you need to select the left border and this is you can see that a vertical line is inserted

00:43and if you remove the spaces between the two paragraphs, the line vertical line will be
